A day off. Warm, but foggy and drizzly. Probably no golf.
Might as well enjoy this breakfast beer. Chocolate cake with cherries. Very nice.

BA Abraxas...a let down. Too mellowed out so all of the flavors were pretty subdued. Wish I had this fresh to see the likely difference. Had the regular Abraxas on draft at a local bar recently and that was stunningly memorable so I'm not sure if it's the age or the aging in barrel and bottle that impacted it significantly.

Montmorency vs. Balaton...Hands down the best JK beer I've had, edged out Atrial for me.

My first offering from this brewery and I am impressed. Nothing over the top, but base brown ale and coffee go well together.

It didn't really pay off all that well, alas. Oh well, only one of a mix your own six.

Odell Myrcenary DIPA. Spectacular! One of the best, in my opinion. Love, Love, Love this stuff!

More Loose Cannon IPA from a growler I originally popped way back on Thursday ... still drinking surprisingly well for a half-empty week old growler -- obviously not as good though.

    What's up y'all!
I've really been wanting to try more and more tart, funky farmhouse beers so I picked these two bottles up on a recommendation.. Calabaza Boreal, a collaboration between JPB and Anchorage. First up the one brewed at Jolly Pumpkin.
I'm lovin the label on this beer.. ^^
    [IMG]
Quite refreshing. Big citrus up front and funky Brett mouthfeel.
Overall I find this to be a great beer.. Hopped up spiced up and great flavors through and through
Might hold on to the Anchorage bottle of this for a later date .

    One last look

To anyone that has not had the pleasure of drinking this, I would definitely recommend this beer! Not a huge fan myself of new belgium, but their lips of faith series seems to be on par with other good breweries. Very delicious stout with just a smidgen of salt on the finish .... enjoy your day, all. Happy sipppin'
