Thanks so much for this update. I got off work an hour after this and was able to grab two 4 packs. Advocacy appreciated.

Wow I felt bad paying 16.75 for a four pack but that is the worst! At least you got access to harvest ale I seen none on the shelf's as of this year yet...

Found this years batch very smooth. Heavy bourbon with a woody aftertaste and a good vanilla note from the barrel. I have two left to enjoy so maybe next time I will let it warm up more.

Found no KBS this year but this beer makes up for it! TASTY!

Yes, this is amazing at sub room temp. The only thing I noticed was my glass disappeared in about five minutes.

Definitely let it warm up. I prefer backwoods room temp to refrigerated.

I had it on tap last night and initially thought it was a little thin, but I liked it more and more with every sip. (never had it before)

My favorite bottle shop wanted me to drive 40 miles round-trip to buy one bottle. Pass. Maybe next year.

It finally hit Orlando Distribution I assume maybe yesterday because when I asked last Friday at my local Crafty East Orange ABC it wasn't in. Yesterday I asked and they had to go back to the store room to get me a pack as it wasn't shelved yet.. $12.99 I may stop by again today to see how much they have and pick up a second one so as to not be greedy.

It's hit NOVA. Dominion Wine and Beer in Falls Church. 4 pack limit which is better than TWs 2 bottle limit!

Sadly TN has ridiculously high alcohol tax and its hidden in the sticker price but that still doesn't explain that great of a disparity in price. Bourbon County was $19.99 here which seems on track with the rest of the country. I'm starting to wonder if our distro is jacking the price up just because they can?

And don't get me wrong, I'm excited to even have Backwoods AND Harvest in my state considering they seem to exist here in very limit quantities but $8 over the average for the rest of the country seems a little extreme. Notably Stone has yet to send any "Enjoy By..." to our state, I'm assuming because of our Distro's reputation for letting beer sit in their warehouse for far too long.

Rare Founders Score #2 Today at a different ABC store, including some Harvest Ale..
I could of taken the other 2 packs that were left on the shelf but figured I had enough for my use for now

Generally like this beer with 6-12 months aging on it. However I just cracked open my new case and: S-U-P-E-R-B

I prefer it refrigerated, I love that boozy bourbon flavor.

Sipping on one now that I wished was colder. I was wondering why this tasted different than the last one and that's it.
