Short's 2015 Release Schedule?

Three words-

Sticky Icky Icky

 

Looks like an excellent line-up again this year. Excited to try many of these new entries, but I'm surprised that Key Lime Pie isn't included given it's popularity and that it just won a gold medal for best experimental beer. Also sad to see Kind Ale gone (one of the best wet hop beers around) and Cup A Joe.

As for the others, I'm pumped to see that the Woodmaster and BCP are back.

I have a Lil Wheezy waiting for me in the fridge - it's going to have to be pretty good in order to sway my vote from Cup A Joe.

 

I guess this will be a good opportunity to crack my bomber of 2007 Carob Stout. It'll be neat to do a side-by-side with a few friends.

 

That is an amazing list! Sad though no publican porter.Cup a joe is my vote unless there is truly a write in which then it would be publican porter and i will buy the crap out of it.

 

That ween concert at shorts should be free to anyone who can prove they've bought every shorts specialty release in the last year

 

I noticed that myself. That should be a seasonal. But to omit it altogether? What the Fish?

 

The nice thing to remember is that even if you don't see your favorite in bottles, there's a good chance we'll brew a pub batch- so if you REALLY want something, you can always keep tab of what's on tap and go from there.

 

By that you mean we can just ask you and you'll send us growlers?

 

If I lived in Bellaire, I'd consider it.

 

Just make Goodnight Bodacious a year-round mainstay so I can perpetually forget about every other Black IPA on the planet.

Dude. I freakin' love Aorta. It was considered, but sadly, did not make the final cut. I hope it does make a triumphant return, soon.

From our head pub-brewer-

It was the Imperial Black Cherry Porter and towards the end it did get really foamy, so when we filled a growler we lost a bunch of beer do to foam, so the decision was made to not do growlers. Also this decision was made while serving the last keg or so, I guess this person just hit us up on the end if it.

 

Doesn't need to be said here, but responses like this are one of the many reasons Sean is an incredible representative for his company and great beer advocate in general. Thanks for all you do.

 

Appreciate the information. Makes sense and over the course of the week I spent up there, we hadn't attempted to buy growlers of the IBCP any other days it was available. Maybe I am confused but how does the Imperial Black Cherry Porter vary from regular Black Cherry Porter other than the abv shown on here?

 

I will buy all of the Superfluid.
