    Experiment time! Bought this in a pick six, I read the so-so reviews but was in a ticking mood. Went to pour it and read the June 5th, 2013 date on the bottle...oh great, only 17 months old!

    After seeing the BA score and realizing the date I was pretty sure this was going to be a disaster...NOPE! It is actually good...slightly sweet up front but not overbearing at all and a very quick, clean, bitter finish...I dare to say even refreshing? Slightly dirty with a little sediment...not bad? TICK!

    No it isn't even close to the hoppiness that I enjoy in an IPA (think Sucks, Jai Alai, Fresh Squeezed) but is surprisingly good...now I'm actually curious to it's taste fresh...wish I had one so I could do a side-by-side...oh well, cheers!

    Sometimes you need to slow it down and smell the roses (hops)...

    It's from Hops and Grain Brewery in Austin, TX. It was also a gift from my son, who lives there. I think he got it at the brewery, which he visits quite often. I don't think the glasses are available for purchase thru their website, but you can contact them and see if they might ship one out.
