NBO: Everyone's Birthday BIF

How about a birthday bif? I'm still working out all the details, but the basic idea is random beer presents showing up for you to open and enjoy on your birthday!

My initial thought is everyone has 2, maybe even 3 targets spaced throughout the year, this way we'll all get more than 1 present and from different senders, and we'll each not have to worry about sending to multiple targets in a short period of time. If you don't have a trade rating higher than 10, have not been on this site for at least 90 days, or have not participated in a bif, please do not request to participate in this bif. I simply make this request because you might be receiving beer before you're required to ship, and I want to ensure everyone get's the birthday gifts they deserve!

I'll try to space it out so you send/receive within a few month period so that you're not having to send multiple boxes in the same month, and also so you don't have to send all your packages almost a year before you get your own.

Ideally I'd like to see this evolve (or just start out from the beginning), with people sending/receiving more than their required minimum. I know many of us have made friends from afar, and the opportunity to send them a birthday box will be hard to resist, even if their not a required target. That being said, everyone choosing to be involved with this bif is agreeing up front to allow me to send their address to anyone else in the bif that requests it, and also anyone that has a well established presence on this site. I'm saying this because I'm sure there will be some standup stalkers (lol) that choose not to participate in the bif, but still want to send a few special packages to people of their choice. Additionally all participants will have their birthday listed in the OP of the hints and hauls thread. I would like to include complete birthdays.

Non-bif participants requesting information on individuals in the bif will have to be members of the site for at least a year, and have a trade feedback rating of 10 or more. If you're not involved in the bif and send a package to a birthday boy/girl, you're also agreeing to allow me to share your address to someone meeting the same criteria as above, in case someone wants to send you a proper thank you note.

Not thinking anything crazy regarding quanties of bottles, etc... So I'll set it at a minimum of 60oz. and a non-beer birthday present, which can be the usual, a glass, swag, etc... What to send? Follow the golden rule, you want to get good beer on your birthday right? Well, don't be sending any crap to someone on their birthday!

As an upcoming birthday recipient, all participants will be asked to update their wants as their special day approaches, and I highly suggest posting special requests, style likes/dislikes, etc... on the hints and hauls thread which will be opened after the signup completes. This is majorly to your benefit, as there's a good chance someone may send you a special beer you're hoping to enjoy on your birthday even though you're not one of they're required targets!

At the request of some members of the 12 days of xmas bif, we'll be starting this targeting to start shipping with december birthdays, so time is short! If you want to participate, I need to know by thanksgiving day if you want to participate. I realize this won't leave much time for anyone participating that has an early December birthday to post wants, or their shippers to send them, so please realize that if you have a very early december birthday, your presents might show up like those from your uncle, and be a few days late.

I'm all about changing this to fit the requests/desires of everyone participating, so if you have any feedback/suggestions let us know!
