I think it's more about raising funds heading into the opening of their 2nd location, I don't know how many memberships there will be, but I don't imagine they'll cut quantity available at releases by much (how could they with 200 bottle releases?) so that means they're increasing batch size of the limited stuff and are looking to get the funds ahead of time.

Two very tasty tidbits of very important information:

Personally I much prefer my notifications off. Coming home to an unexpected box has turned a shitty day into a great one. Although it could also turn an awesome day into one of furious anger and retaliation.
