Interesting you mention that. I think I like it better today. The coffee flavor seems fuller and the small loss of carbonation has made Gmork a little thicker in my opinion. The rest of the growler will be gone by the end of the night.

Friday VBS! The school week is over, and while I have a ton to do school related this weekend, I just can't be bothered to start it tonight. Flyers game starts in 30, and I got a message earlier that this got put on the floor today...



Picked up a case, not scarce afaik (they had a 2 case limit, and a lot of people were leaving with them, but I'm sure they have plenty), but decided I could hold onto some for a bit since it's, IMO, a pretty solid RIS

Not proper glass wear. But it is the proper beer for this cold weather.

 

Jack's abby is so damn good.... never had a bad beer from them... and i've had the majority of what they make... except for Smoke in the Ham... that tasted like carbonated ham water

 

Yep Fire in the Ham is pretty much a rauchbier on steroids, not my cup of tea.

They just released a barrel-aged baltic porter called Lager Ness Monster, clocks in at 15%. Need to get my hands on some of that.

 

Heading out to go fishing. Picked up my best friends dad around the corner. Not making Kane tonight. Hoping to hit them tomorrow afternoon, for post fishing celebratory brews.

OK, guys. I just got home today from a wonderful 10 year wedding anniversary Disney cruise with the family. Spectacular time was had. Horrible beer selection but none the less, a great time.
I knew that I had won a few mini's before I left. I picked up the boxes from a co-worker this evening.
