'14 B-Bomb drops

They just had to do this on Black Friday. Unfortunately, I will be in Chicago for the other lesser known black Friday release.

 

Boo to black friday.

 

What? No mention of tickets, a lottery system, line management, or security? What kind of release event is this? They don't even provide a recommendation for where I should pitch my tent.

 

When I went for the KDS releases and saw people walking out with Sour Weisse or regular Abominable and no KDS, I was like 'what the fuck is wrong with these people'

 

That sounds nice

 

I'm waxing BBomb bottles tomorrow. Get a free one, hooray.

 

We mostly talk about the beer, but I have to hand it to Fremont on another front. They've really upped their game in the graphic design and branding over the last couple years. People say it doesn't matter, but it does.

Love the Fremont cars too, that Firebird (er, heron) Prius is great and so is the Beer Patrol car.

 

Which session were you at? I waxed at the 10:30 session. BBomb this year is goooood.

 

The Fremont neon sign at Toronado seriously rules, too.

Nice. We had a sample off of the bright tank. Not as boozy as last years.

 

They need demons, zombies, vikings, and some offensive beer names if they're going to go with lines and ticketing systems for their releases. Maybe Bourbon A-BOOBinable and a label with a battle-axe wielding busty sasquatch in a bikini?

 

they also need to reduce their output by a factor of 100 to qualify for rare status.

 

Let's not forget treating their customers like shit.

 

Bbomb 2014 is goood. We waxed and boxed tons of the stuff today. Got to take one proper waxed and labeled bottle as well as an underpour unlabeled bottle. Lots of fun.

Few questions from an out of towner- Does this beer normally sell out quickly? How much does it go for? I was hoping to have a friend pick some up but he'll be out of town during the release party. Thanks!

 

Echoing @beertunes, probably a couple weeks at the brewery and months in distro.

Now, if they do a variant / variants like they did with KDS this year, that'll be another story ...

 

There will be a cinnamon variant at some point in December. It won't be available on Black Friday.
