Hard to think off the top of my head (plus I've had the opportunity over the last few months to try at least one beer from a lot of breweries I've heard a lot praise for, even if the beer of theirs I had isn't one of the ones they are super known for), but Cigar City would definitely be one. Maine Brewing Company would probably be another

Nice to put a face to the name! Nice beard too! And whenever we get together for a share, I'll be sure to tick off one or two of those names.

 

If you're looking for a Troegs care package, let me know! I don't live too far from the brewery, so I go there every so often to get some stuff

 

Same goes for me with Tired Hands, and though they get a lot less attention, Forest & Main (which is much closer to me, 3 minutes vs 40 each way). I'd be looking for a pp/label for the forseeable future, but I'm more than happy to do it.

 

IOnce I drink through all of the beer I've gotten over the last couple weeks I am going to take you up on your Tire Hands offer. I'll let you know when I'm ready and maybe we can work it out so it's a trip that works for you too. I don't want you driving 80 minutes just to so me a favor.

 

Trust me, I wouldn't; I honestly don't have the time in my schedule to add an hour and a half. Tired Hands is a "whenever I'm already going" offer; Forest & Main, however, I'll do any day of the week.

Ok well then we can do it this way. The next time you go to Tired Hands let me know. If I'm ready for more beer then I'll send the funds. If I'm not, then oh well. There's always a next time.

 

Definitely man, I'll try to give the thread some heads up whenever I'm headed down there. I also might just grab a handful of growlers while there regardless of what people say; between here and SWTFYW I have no doubt I could pawn them all off on someone. A friend of mine that I work with just moved closer to them as well and will probably be there with relative frequency once the honey-do list from the initial move-in dies down a bit, having him grab me a couple growlers every time he goes is a distinct possibility.

In the meantime, let me know if you (anyone) are interested in Forest & Main beers, they don't get nearly the attention/hype that Tired Hands does, but their beers are great nonetheless.

You're a mad man... I hope that was over the course of 6 hours, there's some heavy hitters in there!

 

Hmm. Hill Farmstead, Cantillon, Lawsons, New Glarus & Surly...I could go on and on. But I'm still a relatively new trader compared to some on here. I think I'd be more disappointed if I never got to try a beer from breweries I've never heard of - like so many of the ones that were sent in this thread.
