Maybe, but if a) You need for a party and cant get it elsewhere or b) you dont wanna drive to munster to save $30 for a case with gas at $4+ a gallon...

 

I don't know many places that sell cases of zd to a person, just one actually. Could maybe get away with 3 sixers at marias, and a sixer or two at a few places, but that's like $75+.

 

Yeah, about $70 a case is what it'd cost you. Bring a few friends

Exactly what would be gained by a moderator (BTW, the Bros. do a great job of moderating this entire board IMO)? The OP got his answer and he's not likely to post this question again. I would say his post and this forum served it's purpose.

Since I have had multiple inquiries if I am trying to keep this to locals...NO, come to find out, some guy generously gave bottles to the staff upon exiting and checked it into Untappd...you never know with the FFF crew

 

No, asked FAR more often is "Heading to Chicago, what bars to hit?" That needs to be a sticky.

 

This sucks. Had a buddy who is new to the whole beer scene, plan on getting some today.

 

Stickies only work if people read them. You overestimate the power of the sticky and underestimate the "its easier to ask" mentality. You put up a sticky I can almost guarantee you will just be replacing post containing that link with posts telling them to check the sticky.

 

I think questions like this are well worth asking. I don't understand why everyone gets so offended when someone asks. The link is great and all, but is not accurate all the time. I checked the link from the website this morning because I made plans to go with a friend for his first time, but didn't care what would be there regardless. The link from the site says they have typical stuff. But I went today and they have BA Robert the Bruce with raspberries and Boogoop on tap. In addition they had pizza port barrel aged night stalker which was excellent. I think there needs to be less of people getting so uptight and upset about people asking basic questions on this site. If you are THAT offended, tell them in a message.

 

Totally agree with kazoo and doogie. U can always use the website link to the brewery but there's nothing more accurate than a BA who's been to (insert brwery here) less than 24 hrs ago. To the OP and others who ask similar questions.. Keep doing it! I ask the same questions when I go out of town regardless of what the brewery website says. I like to rely on the good nature of the regulars who frequent their local brew pubs.
