Just thought I'd let everybody know I saw Moe this past Saturday at the Barrelworks release and did not witness him cut in line.
    That is all.

Do you have a time machine? I've been drinking Cantillon since '08 and have honestly only once been in a store with (a few) 750 ml for $20 and 375 ml for like $13 and that was in Denver back in '09. I remember this vividly because if I had known how scarce they would become over the next few years, I would have bought at least a case. I even paid $30 in Ohio for 750s a few years back at a place that had very good prices across the board. I'm not saying your prices aren't reasonable: they'd be great! I just think your expectation of actually finding them in the US are very unrealistic these days. Hell, I found the recent Classic 375 with the Belgian flag for $18 and was pumped that it was under $20. Never in my life have I seen a 750 for $15.

Cool story. I'm pretty sure I saw a post of his on Instragram over the weekend (since deleted I guess?) of SEVERAL cases os Slolambic he'd managed to procure and promising to hook someone up after he took care of all his regular trade partners.

Whole Foods (when they used to get them in) sold Classic Gueuze 750 ml for 17.99 if I'm not mistaken.

Well, yeah. I doubt anyone would cut in line at a release where everyone is guaranteed the bottles they purchased ahead of time.

Why would somebody cut during a ticketed event?

Was standing behind him as he was picking up his beers at the barrelworks release and overheard him talking to his friend (mule?) About asking if they would be able to take (buy?) the beer that was left over due to people buying tickets and not showing up.

Well that's real nice of him. Really wanted to go to the SLOambic liberation(as it would be the last event I could attend before deploying overseas) and to know this fucktard brought mules just to hoard cases of it/resell it for a profit is so far from what beer is truly about.

Holy shit I just got into drinking craft beer and I didn't know shit was this complicated. Fuckung crybabies and their bs drama just drink your damn beer. People all getting bent out of shape over one guy and his liquor store, so pathetic. Gotta admit though I busted out the popcorn.

It may not mean much but from an outsiders opinion this is just ridiculous and frankly hilarious. Bunch of guys mad over beer, just wow.

Registering on a beer-centric website where the majority of action involves rating beers and discussing the beer community then complaining about it like you're better, just wow.

these 2 threads prove that as long as you have a decent website you can sucker people into buying anything.

    Lawlz ATF.

It's cool though Florida, we use the ABC here. The thing is CBK isn't technically doing anything illegal it is just their poor practices in both business and releases surrounding beer.

I'm sure that's not good for anyone... I'm sure anyone that trades would prefer that they're not tipped off. unless theres a way to do it as to avoid scrutiny landing upon regular consumer shipments. Ponder...
