I liked this a lot more than most, it seems.

Cool thermometer---but it begs to ask, what do you do between 50 and 60 degF??

 

We probably won't have to worry about that for another eight months around here.

 

Good afternoon everyone!! Last day of my vacation is being spent at home doing laundry and other miscellaneous shit.
Finishing off this beer that was left over from one of the buckets purchased on the ship; started it with lunch. Some left over homemade cheesy potato soup! Gotta have some Frank's hot sauce too!


As promised here's some pics from the rest of our Caribbean vacation...
Old San Juan

There was an art exhibition in one of the visitor centers featuring pigs, so of course we took some pics as my Mom loves pigs...

The last remaining old gates to the city, built sometime in the 16th century and rebuilt in the 17th if I remember correctly.

We also visited the only cat sanctuary (Save a Gato) on the island and fed the cats and made a donation. It was wild being around 100+ cats!


Of course we visited Castillo San Felipe del Morro!

Made it to the top and found an iguana sunning itself. Yep, that's my youngest with his best "Whoa!" face.

Don't have many pics from Nassau, the wife hasn't gone through those...been there before anyway.
It's A LOT cleaner there now than it was when we went 2 years ago! Plus they just employed 100 more police officers too! Gotta protect that tourist money!

Trying this local brew for the first time...COAST Rye Knot Brown Ale. Everything COAST puts out is simply fantastic! Cheers!

 

Just finished packing a "zombie" army to invade the domicile of one @WesMantooth .

Brace the family for the onslaught, my friend. I don't think he's gonna know what hit him. Packing boxes always makes me feel Christmas-y, so it's only fitting that I take a break with this ...

First Schlaflys I've seen in Chicagoland. I hope this is gonna lead to more of their stuff. Very nice Christmas ale, indeed. I thought it was too early for a Christmas ale/warmer. I'm glad my girlfriend talked me into it. Especially now that it's so dang cold!
Anyway, Pandora and I were feeling a little proggy while packing ...
