It's a seasonal! I usually don't even look at dates on seasonals, so I grabbed the first Harvest I saw. Then again, there was a very good chance it would be all gone by the next day. In any event, it's outstanding this year and you definitely should pick it up.

Had one last night. No fade. I preferred Victory Harvest, but Founders kicks

Drinking one from that date as I type. It's still great. Buy it and do yourself a favor.

Wow, incredible to me that someone would even have to ask about a 6 week old seasonal being "too old"....what are we coming to?

I too prefer the Victory over the Founders but have been drinking the 9/30 Founders for a couple of weeks and it still is great.

let the malt shine threw my friend, a good beer is a good beer, taste change as a beer ages but it might not be a bad thing unless you are a hophead

Is this really what has become of beer drinking now? Asking if a 7 week old beer is too old to drink?
    Pathetic.

face it , we are all in search of the perfect beer ( AKA beer snobs) or we would not be on this site. I think it is a legit question as I see it as asking if he should buy something more fresh if a killer IPA is his quest...
I personally sit on IPA for way to long according to the hopheads on this site as I still have some Hopslam and Nugget Nectar from last February that I still crack open when in the mood and still enjoy.. ...

Just drink it! It's fantastic beer, even at such an "advanced" age.

I don't think this is snobbery. Founders harvest is pretty expensive to begin with and if the only element that made the beer good had faded then why by or why try? I don't think many are looking for a perfect beer or would really know what one tastes like.
