There's even a San Diego Thread in the SW forum! What the hell is the world coming too? http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/san-diego-trip-friday-11-21.228464/
I agree. One NM related thread is definitely too many... Now stay away from the ISO LC threads and we'll keep that beer to ourselves
Actually, I'll let you in on a little secret. It's not our sacred beer, but everyone thinks that cuz of the IPAs LC produces and we as New Mexicans aren't inclined to argue. Just means more Marble, Il Vicino, Bosque, and SFBC for us.
I enjoyed Bosque while I was there. Il Vicino has a great taproom right around the corner from LC which I was not expecting to be as good as it was. Marble does make some solid beers, but not on the same level as LC. Just my take.
Regular lineup favors La Cumbre, I will concede, although that's mighty skewed by Elevated and Dank (and to a lesser extent, Malpais). But Marble is blowing LC out of the water on special releases, barrel-aged beers, sours, and creativity.
I can believe that. I picked up a couple of bombers of their barrel aged beers when I stopped by. I also had them on tap and they were great. Hopefully, they can work on getting those distributed out to, specifically, Austin.
...if they ever did send it in to distro here, it would just sent in a warehouse for a few months before being released...
