For me, it's Founders Breakfast Stout. Despite its double 100 rating on BA and giving it several tries, it just tastes like burnt bread to me. What's yours?

For me, most IPAs. The big one that gets me, though, is Two Hearted - I just don't understand the love this beer gets.

Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout - not a huge fan of the milk stout style to begin with, but that stuff was like drinking a diabetic count chocula's pee...

Russian River Supplication and there was one more sour I had that I did not like, can't remember the name. I am not a huge fan of sour flavors and I should informed myself before spending $16 on each bottle.

I agree. I buy a 4-pack every single year just to make sure though. LOL I wouldn't necessarily say that I don't like it though. I just think that it is HIGHLY overrated/overhyped.

This thread timing is funny because I am actually drinking a Breakfast Stout right now. My final one of the 4-pack and I won;t be buying it again...until next year. :astonished:

I can't stand big hoppy IPA's. Tried Pliney the Elder at GABF and dumped it out after first taste. Terrible!

Sculpin IPA ballast point. Overpriced and overrated .

I'm really not a fan of real hoppy IPA's either. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

Double Jack and Union Jack...IPAs aren't my favorite style, but there are so many I prefer to these 2.

I love hoppy bitter IPAs but Imperials IPAs are just not for me. The huge amount of malt makes these beers way too heavy and sweet. It's very hard to balance a beer like that out, for my taste anyway. I can drink a big 10% every now and then but most of the time I will have to pass.

Hate to say it...Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold. God knows I've put down a lot of Lagers...different Lagers and after all the recommendations, it was barely OK. I should buy it again and give it another shot, but most likely not.

If I don't like it, it's not good beer!

For me it's Arrogant Bastard. It's a blend of dark roasted malt and in your face hops that just doesn't work.

For me it's Wulver. I can't really put my finger on why i dislike it as much as i do, but for whatever reason I just can't get into it

I hear ya on this one, don't get it. Thought I was getting bad bottles until I had it from the source this summer. Just doesn't do it for me...

Saw this thread as I'm sitting at a local tap house...halfway through a founders double trouble and I'm not sure what the fascination is.

Hrrm.... Hill Farmstead. I've tried most of their offerings and I don't really get the hype? Probably just cause you can only get it in the hills of Vermont... sheesh.

I kid, I kid. Probably Narwhal, it seems so thin to me. Also, I really like Oskar Dales but I feel people give Ten Fidy so much hype. Nugget Nectar as well is seriously overrated, but I do enjoy it with some age on it.

Drank a Founders Dirty Bastard a few nights ago, and I don't think it's one I'll be picking up that often.

I'm also just not a big fan of all the pumpkin crap that seems to be so popular. Some are decent, most are garb IMHO.

I have to agree with you on Ten Fidy. It's a very good beer, I'll even say great, but it did not quite live up to my expectations given all the love it gets.
