for me it is stone ipa and dfh 60 min. the stone tastes like a bitter pine sap mess to me, while the dfh was nothing but annoying bitterness with no discernible hop taste whatsoever.

    I second Arrogant Bastard.

If this qualifies as not liking a beer then almost nobody likes BCBS, Plead the 5th, etc. :stuck_out_tongue:

I just can't get down with Yeti. I love hoppy beers and I love stouts. I'm sorry but Highly hoppy stouts just make my fun go soft. I've tried regular, coffee and chocolate. I didn't enjoy any. I'd try a mexican chocolate Yeti if they made it though.

I just read a few people say Arrogant Bastard, I will have to 3rd that. Too many hops with too much malt.

Chocolate oak-aged Yeti actually does have cayenne peppers in it.

Damn, I don't remember that. I'm still scared to pick up a bomber though.

It is looking like my thoughts on Arrogant Bastard are shared by some. It is the only beer I have poured out so far.

Any time anybody wants to drain-pour some Arrogant Bastard, just slide that sucker down the bar towards my direction.

I'll drink it all day, every day.

Apparently any good sour. I've learned to like many beers that were strange to me at first, but no matter how many quality sours I try, the first sip is interesting, then it increasingly tastes like drinking beer mixed with battery acid and vinegar. I rarely can finish a glass. When I buy something from an A class brewery that I can't finish, I just get depressed. And then have to have another beer.

I also drained the last 1/4 of my first AB. Didn't enjoy.

Also, I don't understand the rather high ratings for Black Butte. For a beer that is supposed to be one of the best in it's style and a shelf beer...i don't get it. Not much going on for me, and drinks way to thin.

I genuinely have no clue how Bois from The Bruery earned a 97. It's a clumsy, over-the-top mess that signifies everything bad about "extreme" brewing.

On the plus side, the price point has completely squelched my curiosity in ever buying another Bruery anniversary ale ever again... :stuck_out_tongue:

Not really a fan of beers aged in bourbon barrels although they seem to be popular. I just don't think bourbon notes go well in beer.

An oldie, but usually a classic goodie, is New Belgium's Fat Tire. I first had it, I think, in 1998 or so (?). I know I had it at the brewery (the old one -- small) back in 2001. At that time, it was all the rage and the beer you had to have. My friends would bring it. I kept drinking it because it was different and I know I wanted better beer and I was drinking any good craft I could get, but I could never get into it. Now days, I really can't get into it. It's not rated super high on BA, so I guess I'm not alone.

Thankfully, there are about 4 billion beers to choose from in 2014, so it's not really anything I have to worry about.

The first two posts got my attention....and let the record reflect that I'm a huge fan of both styles....but Breakfast Stout & Two Hearted, really? I thought it may have been me so I've tried them both on multiple occasions under different conditions. Same results....Meh.

Try breakfast stout on draft next time, I thought it was significantly better than the 4-packs.
