Do yourself a favor and get some Uncle Jacobs when it comes out again this Spring. Or trade for past versions now.

Visited Avery yesterday and picked up some Antonius' Carmen and Tweak. Just opened a Carmen. Really love the flavor that the Madeira barrels impart to the beer.

I like Lilikoi exactly how it is now. If they can package it, they'll get my money. Probably by the caseload in the summertime.

I had Lilikoi at Star Bar 2 GABFs ago and was in love, and this was during an Avery takeover with Tweak, Samaels, etc on tap. Such a great beer.

Anybody got updates on locations for Tweak in S Denver? Thanks!

Davidsons posted they got it yesterday, I'd imagine it's all over South Denver by end of today.

Argonaut has it downtown, 4-bottle limit

4 BOTTLE LIMIT?! Wow. I'm kinda sorta self-banishing myself from Argonaut for personal reasons but thanks for the heads up!

Yea, I think they got it in last night, probably half-way through their stock already.

Gotta make sure to ask the right guy or they'll probably tell you that they're out.

How does Tweak compare to Pumpkyn? It got similarly good reviews and I wanted to like it but it was just too sticky sweet and boozy for me. Is Tweak the same way?

I found Tweak to be less boozy than Pump[KY]n and Rumpkin. But make no mistake, the bourbon is there in force, but I wouldn't describe it as "hot". It's definitely a much smoother beer than Pump[KY]n.
I wouldn't call it sweet either, but then I like sweet stouts, so my opinion is skewed.

I'm somewhat sensitive to boozy heat and it's minimal for Tweak. At least considering how strong it is. It's also not overly sweet because of the coffee. It has some sweetness, but no more than say...Stone RIS. Maybe less because of that coffee roast note. The barrel adds a kiss of vanilla and bourbon, though.
I like PumpKYn, but don't think it's amazing or anything. On the other hand, Tweak is something special.
