it's readily available now, but it's selling out fast everywhere once it hits individual stores. Riding the hype train, but the hype on this one is very well deserved... I had some friends pick some up for me at the release on Sunday, so I have a few bottles... I'd be surprised if it doesn't hit Chicago honestly... it should be going everywhere Avery regularly distro's... BM me if you need one

 

It always makes me happy when I see a TH growler in someone's haul.

 

The Mad Elf is a 2013 bottle, so it has a year of age on it. They were drinking well when I last opened one, about a month ago.

 

For all Im concerned, they are both yours. I figure at some point, we need to do a SNJ/PA/Philly meet up. I meet @devilfluff when we did an IP trade, but at some point we should try to plan something out. But no worries about details, Im sure at some point we will figure a way to get them to you and vice versa. Ill put the one off to the side, and once I can justify paying shipping from Belgium, Ill get the 2013.

 

Yeah Jesse and I have had a tentative bottle share on the books for a few months now that hasn't happened yet, will certainly add you to the invite list but god knows when it'll happen. In any case, I appreciate it man. I have no way of knowing if my kids will even like craft beer like I do, but I'm looking forward to gifting them something that could be incredible. (and could also be a mess of drain-pour level oxidation...)

As you gents know, I'll also be looking for a 2015 version of all 4 of those beers, but of course we're not there yet, so I'll circle back on that once we're far enough into the year to get beers bottled after the new year.

 

@Lehighace06 Ill have it, about every 6 months I do a box of Belgium's, once the ratio of beer and shipping cost equals out, and I always through in Westy12 cause Quad is my number one beer of choice.

 

If you can get to Jersey on the 29th, we should be busting out the barrel aged stouts.

 

Tempting but unlikely, I'll see what I can do.

Because its too good and @Kramerbarthomer already drank it all? So glad a friend of mine told me to look out for this at GABF and ended up having Pumkyn, Rumpkin, Tweak, and The Beast all in the same night at the same bar.
