SWTFYW Hints and Hauls!!!

Well apparently I've missed quite a bit to say the least. I leave IL in the mid morning to head down to "Switzerland" (KY) to hang out with the COK's. The Sgt. of arms leaves his beloved General, only to find out 6 hrs later that he was damn near assassinated by the PA Crew....well done gentlemen! I'm envious of your strategy, as you wait for the muscle to leave his home state to try and go after our leader.

I must say a BIG thank you to @TheBeerAlmanac (who's never had a Alamac beer til last night! Your welcome Matty) and @BuckTuckian for the southern hospitality of inviting me into his home with the great chance to meet Mrs. Buck and the Mini Bucks. So I surprised attacked them on the food side of things by bringing them a IL favorite Italian Beef, with sweet and hot peppers. Those boys almost chewed their damn hands off they loved it so much. And then there was the bottle share that kicked off in the Buckeye Bunker/SWTFYW War Room.

For 6 guys and 1 woman I think we did a decent job at put a good old fashion hurting on our livers last night. I'm sure Matty & Aaron are still recovering cause unlike me, I'm a soldier! I'm the Sgt at Arms of FIB Nation and that's how I fucking roll, because to BE THE MAN...YA GOTTA BEAT THE MAN!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO (Nature Boy style!)

 

I really appreciate that actually, I know very little about the KS/MO beer scene outside Schlafly and Tallgrass, and I've had only one or two from each of those. Also loved all the Prairie, one of my favorite "widely distributed" breweries that I don't have access to.

 

Don't flatter yourself Derek, that assault was coming with you in-state or without. You and I both know you'd have been powerless to put a stop to it!

The fact that me and Matty were sharing great brews with Aaron, my wife and a few other newly found friends was amazing. I just wish more people could've experienced this. We were quotin movie lines all night, watched Kentucky basketball get a win, and then I got to witness an argurement of who's got the best donuts in LexVegas for 30 mins. Was classic bc it's the same stuff we do in IL only with pizza, hot dogs and Italian beefs.

 

My buddy gets in at 4:30, will check into his hotel and then he's doing an IP trade at Monks followed by Tired Hands. I could make my way into Philly earlier, like 12 or 1 and meetu with you guys for a drink or two earlier if that works. Unfortunately I do have to work Monday night so I'll probably grab lunch Monday and head back to CPA. If @Houser is able to meet up I've a little something something for him I know he'd like.

 

Sunday afternoon just might work bit I'll have a 3 year old with me; but lunch at Tired Hands sounds good even if I can't keep up with you on beers. And if it's all the same to you, I'll grab you a growler of theirs instead of F&M to settle my debt. Not sure if I'll get to your LIF winnings by then or not. What're you thinking of for lunch on Monday? If it's in the Plymouth Meeting area (right by the turnpike and rt 476 interchange), I'd be happy to join you.

 

I was SOO tempted to have some fun with you last night on Untappd my friend but you were having such a great time I just couldn't do it! Glad the trip was fun!
