Went to a two level coffee festival today!


Ended at a bar with free Coffee Bender and Bent Paddle Cold Press Coffee with a brownie made with a coffee syrup


This brewing method was quite intriguing, involved hand grinding the beans, so flavorful!

Came home to this sitting at the door from a trade outside of the group...

 

Wait so coffee has festivals too? Is there also campouts for special releases, and a trading website? When I do drink coffee, my taste is a step or two up from Folgers, but I can't really imagine being into coffee enough for this.

edit: Maybe like some people with IPAs or stouts, it'll just take that one special experience to turn me onto it, so I'm not ruling it out. BS 2.0, the next morning?

Coffee, beer and bourbon. These are some of my favorite things.

 

I think anywhere they are doing an advertised Black Friday event on their website will get Vanilla. Outside of that, I do not know.

So, is vanilla bcbs gonna be super hard to land? What about BCBCS?

We aren't getting them in GA, and only getting a limited amount of the bcbs ( first time ever btw ) and bcbbw is coming too.

Trying to figure out how rare the vanilla and coffee will be, so I can try and load up on some wants to get some.

o 50 Cases Coffee Bourbon County Brand Stout
o 50 Cases Bourbon County Barleywine
o 17 Cases Bourbon County Vanilla Rye

***Display will go up in this store and others around Texas on November 7th promoting the event. We will also be doing sampling to support the displays in select cities around the state****

Cultivar Coffee will be coming out on site at 9am to do drip coffee for around 250 consumers in line waiting to purchase BCBS.

We will be purchasing 250 Donuts from Hypnotic Donuts in Dallas. They are a local craft donut shop with a great reputation. I selected donuts that were fun and complimented some of the characteristics of BCBS

great!!! first time seeing this, was at my local bugging them about kegs of bcbs and bcbcs and a ton of this rolled in, i was like yes and thanks!!

i think chicago will get 50 times that, GI really takes care of us here. Its still a fox hunt but hey that half the fun.... right.

 

Seek out a cup of La Hacienda Esmerelda, known as Geisha, about $140/lb. Bought a cup and it was mind blowing, had Kopi Luwak $420/lb it was alright. The fest was awesome, most booths used the same beans, but the booths all used different brewing methods so you could compare.
