Yeah I just saw that myself. You would think if your reputation was on the line, you would man up and post something to rectify the situation. Silence on the matter tells a lot about someone's character.

He's also got (6) open trades (yikes)

Ok guys. First off, I'm in the middle of a move and don't have internet ATM or I would have kept up communication with @Graffy. If you want me to start tagging local BA's as references to my currant happenings I will. I did lose my job, I did move somewhat abruptly around the same time, I am in need of surgery, my mother was hospitalized for something traumatic during both of these trades. Some of my closest friends didn't know the full extent of these situations and probably still won't as I don't feel comfortable or see it necessary to go into detail. At the very least, hopefully everyone active and respected on here that knows me will attest to my honesty, generosity, and sincerity. @saludnoda @marine1975 @brotherkenneth @ThatOneGuyMoe @cliftoncr @gleasonmb @NCalement @ncbeards @ha-sheem

@Drunkensloth was delaying majorly on his end and first shipped a box that didn't included all the beers mentioned. He then realized he couldn't send all beers agreed on and we settled on just another saison Bernice. He was never pushy and seemed very flexible on the return box. There was about a 2-3 week gap in between his first and second box. He also didn't send a shipper and now I have to return one, that I won't get back, in order to assure safe delivery. I always try to insist on the use of shippers and when it doesn't happen things become more difficult. I should have taken the time to keep him updated but life happens and that's my mistake. Most of my trades these days happen with guys I've exchanged with multiple times and we takes months to ship back to each other. I've honestly never understood the rush.

This situation with @Graffy is my screw up. I haven't looked back over all of this yet but I honestly didn't remember agreeing on any gose. Idk how the hell I mixed it up that bad quite frankly if he is in the right, by the looks of this thread he is, then I fully intend on correcting things. It sucks to wake up to this type of negative article on yourself. I take craftbeer and beer advocacy very seriously. I hope I can make this right and fully intend on shipping @Graffy another box asap. Idk how things escalated so quickly.

As for @Drunkensloth how about you message me with exactly what you want and it'll be there by this weekend. The convo we had was very mixed and without combing over it I'm worried something might get left out. I'm sure everyone on here realizes how difficult it is to fully use the site from a cellphone. Much easier to miss things or only see part of a convo.

Wanna touch on the muting.. @F2brewers didn't mention the second mute was for posting "duplicate threads" aka "misuse of trade forums and a breach in trading rules" even though they were not identical threads and the first had been dates as closed. I doubt much of this will even get read before they mute, delete the comment, or ban me. I'm obviously not on his good side and I've talked to the bros in person about it.

@Quickicks Sorry to hear all this and I didnt want to post this here. The issue is I saw that you logged in several times and not respond which I took you were ignoring my messages. Communication is key. All you had to do was tell me you had personal stuff going on and it may take (insert any amount of time) and i would have been cool with it. How would you have responded if you were in my position?

I vouch for Quickicks. He's a good guy who has no intention of screwing anyone over on a trade. Obviously the parties involved can work it out to where everyone is happy.

because you sent him a box with beers you didnt agree upon in an untimely fashion with little communication on your end. You also accused him of knowing the beers he sent you were low carbed like he did it on purpose or out of spite..and you sounded like an ass the whole time. It got to this point b/c of your lack of communication, plain and simple.

At the top of the Beer trade FT/ISO forum there should be a disclaimer that reads

    CAUTION
If you choose to start beer trading, expect the following events to occur.

    Loss of job
    Family emergencies
    Death of pets
    Having to move unexpectedly
    Loss of common sense
The loss of ability to clearly communicate
The loss of ability to communicate at all
    Etc.

I respect the fact that @Quickicks took the time to respond whether he is right or wrong. I usually believe in giving people a second chance, especially when they show remorse. It appears he plans on making things right and he admitted to his mistakes which goes a long way IMO. Perhaps I was a little too hasty with one of my earlier comments.

To echo what @Graffy said, communication is key. Almost every bad trader thread on here involves people that disappear completely or are logging on and not responding to a trader whom they owe beer to. I think most people on BA are very understanding, I don't ever recall a bad trader thread involving a trader who has delayed shipping yet is constantly communicating with the other person.

I understand @Quickicks that you may have regular trading partners who you have a more laxed shipping time with but for someone you've never traded with then you really should ship as quick as possible or at least communicate.

@Quickicks This is kind of interesting as you made me send one and then didnt send a shipper back?

You are right. I should've waited and sent one back. I used yours for another swap and was out at the time. I'll send one with the beers I owe you.

Kind of seems like you did wait... several weeks so you could drink all the beer and modify the deal you agreed upon...

You have made my DNT list and I am sure many others. Personally I think you deserve to have your account banned.

So in your message above, you said he didnt sent a shipper. Then you just said he did send one, but you used it for another trade.

What you didn't address in your lenghty, excuse filled message is why you didn't send him the beer that was agreed upon in the original deal. What happened there?

Wow, with all those horrible things happening all at the same time (not saying they didn't happen) how in the world did you find the time to hit the Monstro release? A release would be the last thing on my mind if I was in your situation but I guess everyone is different.

I don't recall having an in person conversation with anyone about any of this, but man do you have a lot of warnings for trolling.

Yeah and honestly I didn't know what trolling was before then. I made mistakes when I was newer sure... Most of it was just misunderstandings though and you guys like to jump the gun and take action without fair warming most of the time. Anyone who has used the sight for a while cant deny that here is blatant favoritism and flaming from the mods themselves. Worst part is when you guys ban or mute without stating a reason why. What good does banning or muting do when the person in the wrong isn't told what they did? That type of punishment serves no purpose but to frustrate some of the more loyal users. Also had no idea this was such a politically correct place that I can't say Jesus... I mean my avatar is a devil of sorts, is that against the rules too? Couldn't certain parties be offended?

I'll go on to say what I did with @gaffy was the worst oversight and most inexcusable trading mistake I've ever made. I certainly didn't think through that whole cituation as much as I should have. I can say his box was the first one sent from my new address and that was a very hectic and intense period in my life. As disorganized as my "cellar" was before, it was jumbled up beyond recognition during the move. That, combined with not having a home or Internet lead to the confusion. I was also trading more during that time than ever and got in over my head. Was trying to strike while the Mexican cake iron was hot and entertained all too many trades that I obviously didn't have the time or money for. I didn't mean to make it sound like he didn't deserve beers agreed on due to a flat bottling. I understand that I need to send was was originally agreed on.

@Drunkensloth is being s little out of line in my opinion. Hope I choke on you're beer? Is $150 bucks really breaking you? Maybe beer trading isn't for you. I apologize for not sending sooner but you never hinted that you were that pressing for it and you didn't even ask me to send by a set date or anything of the sort. All I ask is that you make it clear what you want and when.

I made a mistake because I was flustered and had too many trades going on.
