How far would you be willing to travel, on a regular basis, to get to your favorite tap room/Pub? If it were a bit out of the way, what would make it worth the drive, good beer is a given?

Regularly, one hour. A few times a year, maybe 3 to four hours.

I drive two hours round trip at least once a month to get to the closest good beer store.

A agree with SebD, no such thing as too far. Only too expensive.
Full disclosure: I've never really driven more than an hour just for beer, but wherever I go, I make sure to put beer sights on the list. So far, it's always worth it.

We're fortunate here in Michigan to have a lot of good to great breweries, many of which are clustered so that they are not too far apart. I have two breweries here in town, so my mileage does not have to exceed 5 miles (one way) for regular visits. However, I visit other breweries within a 20 mile radius fairly often, and that's about as far as I'll drive for that visit to be the only purpose of the trip. I'll drive a lot farther on a pub crawl, including overnights, but there is always a planned itinerary to include multiple brewery stops.

20 minutes. I can't be bothered to drive somewhere out of the way specifically for beer.

I drive half an hour both ways to my favorite brewpub. I live in a rural area and anything under an hour isn't really a long drive for me. The vast majority of the drive is on near empty country roads so it's actually rather peaceful.

It is a bit out of the way, but in my small town there are only macrobrews on tap at the sports bars. I usually go to the brewpub on mug nights when I can get world-class beer for $2-5 a pint in a great environment. So for your marketing research (good beer being a given), I would recommend good price points and atmosphere to lure someone like me in from a satellite community.

I regularly drive 2+ depending on what's going on (beer releases, special tappings, etc.).

Ill go all over Florida at the moment; in 2015, in state, I've got my sights just on Hunahpu Day and out of state, I'd like to make it point to get to Dark Lord Day, Surly Darkness day and Dark Arts, I've got friends all over so it's killing two birds with one stone.

The closest o.k. taprooms are 20 to 30 minutes away.
Fortunately, there are a few really good taprooms within 40 to 50 minutes.
Good food is usually the deciding factor if growler fills are not involved.

I'd say the limit for me is 3 hours. I'm flying to Houston in January and JK is just under 3.

I should visit more often Asheville, about 1:15 from here, and Charlotte, about 1:30, for some beers I can't find here locally. I have such a back log though, and now Greenville has grown so much with the beers I can find here, that it's hard to justify travelling just for beer. I am going to Gatlnburg next weekend though, so a little side trip to Asheville is in the cards..

    Define Regularly?
Locally, as far as every week, I hate going more than 15 minutes each way. So that confines me to La Cumbre and generally Marble Brewery (two amazing options so I may be truly lucky here).

Outside of the city limits, Santa Fe is a trip we make 4-5 times a year, which is about 45-60 minutes drive

On a larger scale, 4 hours is Flagstaff and El Paso, two different distribution zones for amazing beers. We may take that trek just ONCE a year. But its worth it. That's more on a packaged scale. That should be in your question as well. Lots of people cross state lines for diff. distribution zones.

Anything outside of 4 hours JUST for beer is out of the question. We'd have to work in other activities and make it seem like a beer stop is not planned.
