Great bourbon notes for a relatively low ABV. Really good stout! Cheers!

Tried and tried to get last night's nightcap to upload, couldn't get it. So here it is. Planning on sharing another one of these with the wife tonight as well as Kill 'em All.

This 3F Schraebeekse Kriek '08 was good, but not mind-blowing. "Balanced" and subdued. To be fair, this is my first lambic that's older than 2 years so I don't have much to go on. I actually got a goat cheese flavor/aroma at some point, pretty deep down in a very subtle funk way...and I'm not a fan of goat cheese (mildly put, I'm very sensitive to goat cheese smell). Tons of cherry still even at this age (3F is apparent good with retaining fruit flavors). Had JK MvB 3 weeks ago and prefer MvB over this. MvB is much more "vibrant" (freshness has a lot to do with that).

Mother of God!!! I'm in love again! '13 Grey Monday blew me the way Proprietor's blew me away in February. Nearly everything is similar to Prop, except slightly thinner mouthfeel and ALL hazelnut galore. The extra 3.5% ABV over Prop didn't show at all. Extremely well masked. You can see a little bit of floaties (very fine) and glistening of oil (I think) on the surface. Oh, and I couldn't stop sniffing the wax. Hahaha... Will be looking to stock up on this!

EVERYONE, my first stout ever!!! As a "hop-head" can't believe I stayed away from this style for so long. Maybe it was the dark appearance, but I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT I tell you!!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed one of these last night but shit, I've got a whole case of 'em so I figured I'd have another go with it as the snow falls here in NJ. Cheers brothers and sisters.
