4 elf party 2014

Actually, it is true. Maybe not "everybody" bum rushing to the front but a bunch of people did.
I stayed in line and was lucky enough to score BBPt5th as well as some other stuff.

I would love for things to change this year. Its only gonna get bigger and more out of hand.

 

We were standing together. I was at the same place in line (#297, got there @ 3:45) talking to a couple other guys from Chicago. I don't remember any passing. The line started moving and we got up to the other side of the "U". I just thought it was that Dark Horse people were cueing up attendees way up front to get their sheets. You couldn't see what was going on up ahead.

That being said, I'm planning on going again. The food at the party was fantastic!

Who else is ready for the inevitable retaliation from all the butthurt FIB's who didn't get their allotment of BCBS and variants. I have a feeling 4 elf is going to be a bigger shit show than anything seen before.

I've never been before. Have tried for the past three years, but something always comes up. That said, I'm making it a must this year.

I have no problem waiting if there are things to pass the time. Is midnight too early for those experienced? Not like the trip from GR will take too long.

 

Has anyone seen anything about 4elf this year yet ? Normally there's a post from Dark Horse or something by now. Like the date, bottles, how bottles will be sold, ex....

 

You should be fine being there by midnight imo...There is usually a massive bottle share going on, so that will help pass the time...

I personally go for the party, as I love it...I dont get whatever the allotment is, but im able to get what I want from a few gracious people..

They have been posting things on facebook referring to the date 12/13/14 as a date they are getting ready for. I think the date is set, they just don't have the lineup at this point. I can't imagine it won't be soon though.

I don't remember seeing this in the details last year but it has me feeling good.

"We will have security on premise all night. Please act like adults. If anyone is caught cutting or jumping the line, they will be asked to leave and escorted off the property."

 

This seems like the only significant difference from their event page last year. Other than that it looks like copy/paste until you see the extra 1,000 cases of BBPlead!!! No need to camp out for this one. Plenty to go around.

 

This is definitely not directed at anyone specifically, but the "don't camp out" crowd will all be camped out. I don't blame you, I'll be there having a blast with some great people.
