Getting to be that time of year. I'm thinking an engraved growler would be a nice gift. Still open to any other ideas?

I personally love collecting beer glasses. Some breweries have gift sets that include beer and a glass. I know Chimay and Boulevard do.

really just any beer that is not available in the state of MS, which pretty much means all the good stuff.

nothing like a friend coming over with a shitload of awesome brews for ya when you had no idea you were getting anything

Any kind of boxed beer/glass set is usually a good gift (in my book). Some favorites:

St. Bernadus Gift Box - 4 bottles (Abt. 12, Prior 8, Pater 6, Tripel) + chalice
Weihenstephaner Gift Box - 5 bottles (Hefe, Dunkel, Original, Korbinian, Vitus) + weizen glass

Plan a long weekend away filled with brewery tours, tastings, etc. My sister did this for her husband, they went to Portland Maine and had a blast.

Here is one that is a little tough but special. I homebrew. A good friend of mine loved a particular beer I had brewed a while back. His wife approached me about brewing some for him. She bought the ingredients and I brewed it. We made up a special label and gave him a case of his own special brew. My time was rewarded generously. She tells me every time he opens one (it is an ageable belgian triple) he tells her it is the greatest gift he has ever received. About once a month the wife brings us some home made food goodie to repay me for my time. She is an excellent baker!!!! This may be hard to pull off, but would be a great gift.

Cash is always the best gift.

More beer, food, or doing my laundry for me all come in close second.

My cousin gave my brother a case of beer with his 6 packs of his four favorite beers. I thought it was genius. A gift card to a local bottle shop, any personalized gear is nice too (glasses, bottle opener).
