Grew up on Genesee - still have a soft spot in my heart for it when I visit an area where it's sold. Miller High Life - just a non-descript AAL that served ice cold certainly can hit the spot.

    Mass Marketed: High Life

Nostalgic: Old Style is my favorite beer !!! Also Schlitz, Blatz...good old Schaefer...You're in Illinois!

Regional: Schell's Deer Brand or Hauenstein. All the way...trust me!

Craft: Caldera Lawnmower or Joseph James. In Philly Area Victory has Throwback which is sold at various venues.

Best Value: Burger Classic or Hudepohl. Little thicker and tastes a lot better than 90% of cheap beers...plus it's $15 a case.

Also, shop around. Imported beers such as Carib and Mythos are widely available.

This is true...but Yuengling is also not an AAL.

    As for me...in order:

    1) Gansett
    2) High Life
    3) Bud
    4) PBR

I'm guessing Stagmier probably a wrong spelling, but cheap as hell back in the day. When we were 16 and poor Iron City for $1 a sixer was in order. Schmidts made 16 oz sixers for around the same price too. But I like Miller Lite when I don't want craft.

Agreed. Yuengling is a good go-to in that price range, but for AAL I'd probably have to settle for PBR.

Another one! Getting even harder to find in PA alone. Genuinely Great Beer! Found a left-over craft pack yesterday!

Ask @creepinjeeper ...Moosehead is picking up steam as an alternative to BMC. Never had it, but a lot of people like it. You are asking the King of Adjunct Lagers! As @dashmartino mentioned: Straub...another Fantastic offering from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania !!!

You've never had it??? It's price point for a 12 pack is reasonable ($7.99). I always buy 12 packs so the beers don't get light struck. Very tasty alternative to BMC indeed! Thanks to you, I can agree that Straub is fantastic!

I don't usually participate in these forums, threads, discussions, etc.
But my pick would definitely be STRAUB: "Honestly Fresh...Fiercely Independent".

NO! But I probably will have to hit the liquor store today or tomorrow. Got a few more vacation days to burn this week! I will take up your recommendation!

My go to non craft is still Bud Light. I like PBR but the next day is always a hangover from hell.
