So for those of you on here with untappd and with android phones... does anyone else have the problem where if you go to take a photo of your beer, once you take the picture it reboots the app and you have to take the picture again? Did that for every beer I've had tonight so far lol

Bottle Logic in Anaheim (near Bruery and Noble) released their BA stout Darkstar November for the first time last week, bottles still available as of now.

Mr Ks is one of the best liquor stores around and is walking distance from the Bruery.

If you're looking for some stuff let me know and maybe we can manage an IP trade.

Hey I'm sorry, I think I really do need to pass on this. I know myself and I would not be keep myself from going over the 6 bottle limit, and I'd want to hit wants more than just a "random" (ie "awesome beer that I have on hand, but not specific to wants") sixer. If this was "send the most random 6 beers you have in your house" I'd be good to go, but I need to put a total halt on beer buying for a while.

On a similar note, the SixterCAN is definitely still happening, but I may need to put a hold on it for a little while. Stay tuned and I'll get that going when I can.

I went to Like this as my way of acknowledging it without adding a post... but I can't bring myself to Like taking myself out of a BIF You guys have fun without me!

 

Actually, if I recall correctly when we did the summer sixer there were only one or two people who went over the 6 bottle theme -- I think one person stacked a couple of cans and one may have had 7 or 8 bottles -- but for the most part people "followed the rules".

I am NOT trying to coax you into violating your parole, just pointing out that I think this round IS pretty low-key

 

Agreed. I want to implore all you fellow Round 4 participants to stick with the guidelines on this one. We did well on the Summer 6er and I'd really like to do the same with the Winter 6er. No problems with someone getting creative and counting two 12oz cans/bottles of the same beer as '1 bottle', but I know I'm going to actually be sticking to guideline like we did for the Summer 6er, not (ab)use the guideline like we do for the other rounds

 

I think part of the reasoning behind the summer sixer was that people wanted to see more pRon (which is obviously no longer an issue the way this group sends beer around the country), but didn't want to commit to a lot of effort or expense. And I think some folks stayed out of round 3 specifically because they needed to take a break. So I agree and plan/hope to follow the rules this round.

 

Good point, I couldn't remember the pron from that particular set of boxes very well, but the "I'd wind up buying wants" is still an issue for me. I somehow managed to get 5 or 6 trades lined up on top of the 12 Days BIF, and it's just stretched me too thin.

Besides, if I do figure out a way to add one more box to the next month or two, I'd rather it be a start to the SixterCAN than stay in the Winter Sixer.

I got two bottles of KBS this year, and got to have two 9oz draft pours as well. Haven't touched the bottles yet, but am excited to open one of them for my (hopeful) graduation in just under two weeks (I say hopeful because I literally won't know until two days before graduation if I pass student teaching or not, though I have no reason to believe I won't lol)
