    Good to come out with a pic. Would make me feel better.

    Trading with someone with no feedback is tough. But then again, how do any of us start trading.

    @Coldstorage Welcome to trading

    ^Thanks for the warm welcome.

    Bumping this thread to point out I received my first positive feedback today from a user in Florida. My tracking numbers indicate that 3 outgoing trades are with their new masters so I expect more positive feedback soon. I hope this will inspire trust in others and hopefully I wont be in the "send first" ghetto for too long.

    The 'send first ghetto' isn't all that bad. I preferred to ship 1st for a looong time because I didn't have any shipping experience & worried about my packing.

    On more expensive boxes consider shipping sig required. I sent a box that was delivered & stolen from his porch. I felt so bad for him I told him he didn't need to send me any beers. I can live with that but I'm out almost $150 of beer that could have been prevented if I'd sent it sig required.

    I have struggled over the signature or not.

    First time I shipped I asked for a signature and was not able to get signed because he was at work. Lucky it made it on the third try or else it would have been sent back. Not out beer but need to spend more money shipping.

    Other hand it is less to worry about. None I have received asked for signature yet.

    One caveat about sending signature required is that you should make sure your partner knows about it.

    In my home we both work, we own our house and nobody is home during the day.

    More than once I've come home on Friday expecting a package only to be met with that sticker on my door.

    If I'd known in advance I could have had the package held and I could have picked it up on my way home.

    I'm not a freak about who ships when and first with shelf beers, If they're here they're not ripping me off for Two Hearted Ale, that would be beyond stupid to do that.
