My buddy and I are headed down to Jackie O's this weekend for the 9th anniversary party. I understand there is to be a bottle share that Friday night at the Bagel Street Deli.

Just wondering if anyone here is attending, and what you are planning to bring. We are trying to plan what beers we will bring to the festivities. We are also interested in putting together some trades if anyone is interested. If so, message me and I will let you know what we can bring down to set up a trade.

    Cheers!

(Looking forward to some BBA Black Maple & Evelyn on tap!!!)

The Jackie O's blog say 8 to 11 Friday night. The taproom is supposed to close between 9 and 10, so we probably won't hit up the bottle share until the taproom is closed.

If they close at 10 I might be down for the bottleshare

Anyone interested in Westbrook Gose, Terrapin reserves, or Atlanta locals send me a message. Coming up from GA and planning a midday Friday arrival

I misunderstood the blog, the taproom closes around 9 or 10, but the brewpub should stay open till 12 or so. So we might likely skip the bottle share and just stay at the brewpub.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn, so maybe we can throw together some in person trade or something.

We will be at holiday Inn as well. I'll bring some beers to share or trade.

Have only ever had the standard from a bottle and it was delicious. Cannot wait to try the other four.

Random question, and not that anyone would really know, but should I expect to get a shot at Evelyn and other Friday only drafts if I don't make it down until about 8:00pm? Didn't know if stuff like that kicked really fast or lasts the night, maybe even into the next day.

Mostly everything should last until you get there. I would still expect Evelyn to be on

Good to hear most things will last through Friday as we won`t get into town until noon on Saturday. Will there be a shot at any bottles by that time, or will they all be spoken for? This will be our first trip up, so I`m not familiar with how the calendar system really works.

You will probably have a shot at some bottles, maybe not all of them, just depends on the allotments. They start selling bottles at 11 and the sale typically last for a couple hours. You just need to get a calendar page when you get to the public house/brewpub.

It varies from release to release whether bottles will still be available or not and depends on the limits and the crowd size. At a number of the previous releases including I believe this past September's, there's been enough left over to go through the calendar again offering second sales of one or more bottles (so you would have had a shot at getting at least some bottles at the very end of the calendar), but I don't think that's been the case at the past two anniversaries since these are usually the most popular events.

In the event that they run out of anniversary releases, at the very least you can go to the production facility and grab some of the bottles they have there during the day on Saturday.

You have to be there on Friday to be able to buy anything on Saturday, right?

Not really. It is ideal to be there Friday for a couple reasons 1.You get to drink awesome beer all day 2. You get to talk to awesome BA's and Brewers 3. You can get in line for the calendar page which means you are for sure getting some bottles.

If you can't make it Friday but can come on Saturday I would still highly recommend making the trip. Most if not all taps should still be on and you may be able to purchase some bottles. Worst thing that happens is you drink amazing beer and purchase the 375ml bottles from the Tap House......life doesn't suck. It's a great time, I look forward to every release Jackie O's does.

As long as the drafts keep flowing we will be alright. This was a last minute decision Friday night, so any bottles would be a bonus, but not a deal breaker.

I hate to ask....is there usually a line for calendar pages?

Last year the line for pages was about 5-10 minutes long, at most. People are usually there just hanging out, until one or two people ruin the fun and decide to get in line, then everybody has to follow suit. DONT BE THAT GUY.

I won't be that guy, I plan on being there around 3 to hang out, and belly my ass to the bar!

There will be a blog post later today. Everything is shaping up nicely. The bottle share has been cancelled though. We are focusing all of our efforts and abilities towards getting the public house open, POS systems on line, food organized, and many other things. Thanks for the continued enthusiasm and support!
