Just so happens this is very true. Cantillon is available at every Deppaneur on every street in Montreal. Regular loons and all the Lou Pepe's are frequently showing up.

In addition - if you don't care about the LPs you can usually find a good amount of gueuze / kriek / rose de gambrinus / at most of the petro-canada gas stations. For some reason Husky doesn't tend to order kriek or rose, but I've heard they'll occasionally have guest kegs of 50n4e at the maple syrup growler filling stations, so YMMV.

 

I found some Fou Foune at a 7-11 in downtown Montreal a couple weeks back.

 

Hold on.... red alert on the Loon Ticker.... we should be seeing dusty bottles of DQ by the pallet at several LCBO's in the Timmins area.

I figured you were because I was at that very 7-11 last week and they were sold out.

 

They are sold out, however, They are getting a shipment of Fou in a week or so.

That reminds me, Chez Parée in Montreal just got a huge shipment of LP's in for in house consumption. Word on the street is they do bottles to go.

Cantillons are available only for private orders which you have to pre-order months in advance and you need to be a member (and before messages pour in, i am not a member )

You might find some for on site consumption but they will be rare. Brouhaha & Cheval Blanc have had some in the past.

For on tap Cantillon, you'll need to come to my basement. Invite only and you need to bring a growler of Pliny the Younger to enter. No first borns please as i have 2 kids already and i'm good
