I thought it would be fun to create a thread of everyone's recommendations for holiday beer. I have been drinking JubeAle this past week and its awesome! What is your favorite?

Well, GLBC's Christmas Ale will always have a place in my fridge this time of year, but Ommegang's Adoration takes the top spot for me. Bought a 4-pack last weekend and thought it was amazing.

I am usually not a huge fan, but this years Anchor Merry Christmas Happy New Years was rather tasty.

Though I'm not normally a fan of Christmas beers and haven't had all that many, my favourite would definitely have to be BrewDog's There Is No Santa. More gingerbread with fruit pudding, rather than solid Christmas fruitcake (which I don't like).

I've got a soft spot for Thirsty Dog's 12 Dogs of Christmas. And before any one says it's the same as GLBC's Christmas Ale...No..It's really not.

This one. Not to sweet, rather bitter. More like an amber ale.

I like the winter seasonals. Celebration, Red Hook's WinterHook, Jubelale are all good choices.
I think my current fave is Widmer's 'Brrr'
And when I go skiing at Steven's Pass, they have Pyramid's Snow Cap on tap in the pizza bar. Delicious!

If you mean a spiced Christmas beer, then Schlafly's Christmas Ale, without a doubt.

If you mean a beer you like to have around Christmas, then I think of things like Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout or Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout.

I plan to have all 3 of these in the next month!

12 Dogs of Christmas, Anderson Valley Winter Solstice, GLBC Xmas Ale and Bell's Christmas Ale (Only because it tastes like GLBC Eliot Ness).

West Sixth's Christmas Ale. Not really a fan of this style though.

Really liking 12 Dogs of Christmas a lot this year, I think it has surpassed GLBC Christmas Ale as my new holiday favorite. Also, the Brew Kettle's Winter Warmer is another really good one.

Port - Santa's Little Helper. I don't go chasing too many spiced beers during the winter months. I do like the Trader Joe's Vintage ale from Unibroue quite a bit. And Anchor Christmas is nice to have once or twice over the holidays.
