Post Black Friday Bourbon County

It was at a Whole Foods with GI and WF reps running the event.

 

Sunset beer Co. got a case of Vanilla (Most likely gone by now) and about 3-4 cases of BCBS. No Coffee or Barleywine.

 

Liquor Warehouse in HB just got 3 cases, all BCBS. Limit 2 at 5.79 each.

 

i cruised over at lunch and got what i thought was the last bottle of vanilla, unless they had more to restock

not sure why they were putting in the fridge but not complaining

 

This actually occured last year too.

 

BCBBW at Bevmo in La Jolla (2 cases) as of 1:40pm today. Looks like they are wanting $29/bottle.

Damn, I keep missing this! Missed Cap N' Cork by an hour and then Sunset by 2! I live on the eastside but have a job *gasp in Hollywood.

yeah, i work in Burbank but headed over there after seeing that posting, because i'm a *****. i couldn't not try

the idea of my local beer store getting vanilla and me missing out on it was too much to bear

 

I'm right there with you. I didn't see the post until 230 or so...otherwise I would've totally been there.

 

Cap n Cork got Vanilla? I was there a few days ago and all they had was BCBS.

 

Yea, Cap n Cork apparently got a case of Vanilla on Tuesday, limit 1 per and there were a bunch of people there waiting for them to unload the truck and put it on sale lol

I did manage to pick up 2 BCBCS 12 oz's though

 

for those not on their instagram/facebook, it sounds like Sunset Beer is getting BCS on draft soon too. not sure if anything other than reg

 

Checking with a couple San Diego BevMo's they seem to insist that Black Friday was it for them.

This feels like a..... wild Goose chase.

 

Stopped at Von's in Point Loma and after not seeing any on the shelf my friend asked a worker. He said you need a password but luckily the password was "Do you have any Bourbon County Stout". Limit was 1. Weird that the grocery store is keeping it in the back but to each their own.

 

There's still a damn near full keg of BCBS at The Brewhouse in San Juan Capistrano. The board shows the status of each keg and the BCBS was green. They also have a few individual bottles on the shelf left as of yesterday. Cool place with a pretty big bottle list and about thirty taps.

 

One bottle or 4pack?
