Vertical Day! - 12/13/14

    My friends and I were thinking of doing a vert this weekend, maybe some 12-14 Abyss we have, or of course the last couple Bourbon Countys to go old vs fresh, blah blah...Then I realized - next Saturday (which allows plenty of time for the vert tasking and aftermath) is December 13, 2014 - or 12/13/14! ie VERT DAY.

    Figured I'd start a thread, maybe some other BAs will jump onboard. So tell me, what vert are you doing??? Also, we cant do this next year, so get it while you can.



    Forgive me, I'm sure this has been covered before, its hardly unique, but I couldnt find any other threads about it.

    I've got about 5 years of Black Butte Anniversary and 5 years of Stone IRS that I've been anxious to do a vert of. I was aiming for December 13 before your post and now it seems like an even better idea.

    Everything else I've got stashed I only have about 2-3 years of, which doesn't feel vertical enough for whatever reason.

    yep, it was just going to be another drinking night for me but now I have something to call it. Too bad 10:11 is too late to kick things off...

    I'll be at Stone's Vertical Epic event on Vertical Day - They've got everything except '02 (which is past its shelf life anyway)

    Only thing I have from '12, '13 & '14 is FW double dba. Definitely wouldn't be able to make it through that without getting shit faced :stuck_out_tongue:

    Wow, a group that I do tastings with on friday nights have a Double Bastard Vertical planned for Friday. It will be a 10 year Vertical 05-14. Pretty impressive, but I wish we would have planned it for a day later. Oh well it will be something very special anyways. Rarely do you get to partake in a 10 year vert of anything.

    Sitting on a 4yr Brooklyn BCS vertical here. (still need to grab the current one yet). I guess I've got 8 days to get it, and I'll have a '11-'12-'13-'14 to take down on 12/13/14. Hmmm..... putting the 11 in 12/13/14 has a nice ring to it, eh?
