What likely happened is he did get the DB Cake from you. He then promptly consumed, refilled, and then traded said DB Fake.

 

Love how his first post in this thread is "OP etc. I got these from another source; PM me for fix options". Guy couldn't even put up a denial thanks to OP's photos and great work so he resorted immediately to the "some other guy gave them to me" excuse.

As I am curious what's in the bottles am I the only person thinking DO NOT drink them? Maybe it's because I'm a cops daughter and have seen how ugly the world is but what if there's something toxic in there?

 

Yeah even if it's not toxic specifically, the possibility of the contents having some issues beyond just being not Assassin are pretty great. I wouldn't drink it either.

 

I would not want to drink either if it was a fake. But, is there any other beer it could be. Not likely, but an example such as 50/50 eclipse uses different waxes (wax would not match the fake assain) for different barrels on their bottles. It would be easy to but a label over the bottle and send off unless it was filled with Homebrew, I can't imagine someone filling bottles with a growler or pouring beer into another bottle and the carbonation would hold up. The wax is another thing that os a tough one to duplicate so I was thinking it could be a different beer with the same color wax.
