Not to be the definition of a beer snob but I picked up a bottle and noticed the bottled on date was 11-13-14... On their site it says 12-26 was bottled on 11-21. And the date is 35 days out so the one I have apparently is 23 days old, but their site says you still have like 20 days or so to enjoy it.

So idk if it's just a mistake on the date, or they had to bottle some earlier in account for how big the release was or what... It's still delicious. Although I did have one on Nov. 24th that was even better. I'm just curious at this point.

If it is still delicious, why does it matter?

I just drank an Enjoy by 10-31. It was still kick ass.

more often than not I find chilled bottles of enjoy by with bottled on date gone but it's great for months after the enjoy by date anyway.

Enjoyby is simply a marketing ploy to get people to buy and drink the bottles as soon as possible. The beer lasts longer than it's "expiration" date.

They could put "Enjoy by Today" because that's how long those bottles last at my house haha! I get an awesome cantaloupe flavor from the 12/26.

Date code machines are either pre-programmed to a default that only changes the date so that when they are turned on at the beginning of the day, they are ready to roll or they get set at the beginning of the run and are then left alone until the end of the day when the machine is turned off. Could it be that they had two separate runs of the 12-26 enjoy by? Sounds to me like that is what they did instead.

Love Enjoy By, and love they put it out there with a big old date. Stone gets it.

Recently "enjoyed" a 2-14-14 that accidentally ended up in my cellar.

It was definitely bottled on 13th, not sure why their site says 21st.

If you order a hamburger at the restaurant and they serve it to you cold, but it still tastes good, is there no room for disappointment?

Apologies to all. We printed the incorrect "Bottled On" date on some of the batch. We will update our website to reflect and explain the mistake, but it might take a day or two. Doh!

12-26-14 is the best Enjoy By I can remember. Split a bottle with a friend and it was fantastic. Will get more before Christmas!

    Greg,

This stuff was in NYC on 22nd if not sooner, how did it get here so fast if it was bottled on 21st? I assumed bottled on date was correct and web site was wrong.

    Thanks!

BTW, was in San Diego this weekend from NY and what a great surprise to see Stone in the airport!!!
