    In German, Fruh means early - I guess it is in the US, but not here. This Kolsch is top-notch, IMHO. Finished work early today, soI'm diggin it right now.

    Good morning BAs! Starting today with this barleywine - might be infected since it has a vinegary finish and not in a pleasant way. It smells good and has a great label but looks like mud and tastes like acetic acid so maybe everything isn't as the brewer envisioned? Whatever, it is what it is and gets rated accordingly.

    I was going to venture out to a beer release, but rain and freezing rain put a damper on that. Staying in and celebrating the Lizard Kings birthday instead. Finding this four month old Oracle very warming with pleasant malt sweetness and still a kiss of hops left. Different but still very good. Cheers to the week ahead!
