I am very intrigued. Yet, I'm going to let you kids battle for this one.

I seemed to remember having this before but it looks like this is the first time it has been put out. Must have been the Special Edition I had. Looking forward to this, hope it makes it here in my state.

It's probably like 25 bucks a bottle. Sounds wonderful though.

I don't think it will be better than straight up Abt 12

Definitely worth a try. Two weeks ago I attended the St. Bernardus event at Belmont Station (PDX) and it wasn't disappointed. I don't think one could go wrong with this oak aged version.

Would love to try it, but I am not about to pay what they're going to ask for this.

I am guessing $20 or more per 750ml. It will almost certainly be delicious but the base beer is best with two years on it and I very seriously doubt this version will be twice as good in spite of being twice as expensive.

Shame, I want more beers aged in pear brandy, apple brandy or calvados barrels, especially quads/strong darks or triples. I feel like a quad aged 50-50 in calvados and sauternes barrels would be unreal. A triple in rum and apple brandy barrels too...mmm....

I love my current $12.99 Apt 12. I'll pay a few bucks extra to try but if it goes over $15.99, not really interested.

My guess is $20-$25 most places.
