    In order to get the thread back on track from my side bar (apologies), I do have a 12, 13, and 14 BCBS I want to judge at some point. 12 is drinking perfectly, but who am I kidding.. so is 14..

    I don't have any 3 year verticals built, so I was reading this, telling myself I'd do it next year. Then I did some thinking, and now I am sad.

    Went to a Stone Vertical Epic event in Dallas on 12/12/12. The bar had a full vertical of every year on tap with 5 oz pours and a souvenir mug for something like $30. Didn't love every year but what a great event! There needs to be something like this for 12/13/14

    Just did Firestone 14-18 over the weekend with many friends... 14 still my favorite but starting to show some oxidation, I'd drink it now if you have it. 15 still didn't do much for me. 16 was just as good, my second favorite. 17 has cooled off a bit. 18 is really nice with lots of Merkin in the blend, a bit more hoppy than other years as well. My favorite fresh vintage since 14.

    @leroybrown10 posted that a bar was doing something with BCBS along this idea, but yeah, surprised i hadnt seen more things like either once i started looking.

    We're looking at BCBS, Abyss, Backwoods, or Descutes Black Butte Anniversary...think 12oz are probably best!

    The only things I have are 13 & 14 Boulevard BBQ and 11-14 of Saint Arnold Pumpkinator. Been waiting for an occasion to do the Pumpkinators. May just have to get some of the guys tomorrow to partake and watch the Rockets game.
