Last heard from @troygreer on Sept. 27, so its about time I put his name on the list. His profile says hes been active on the forum so I'm sure he remember our trade and the beer that he owes me. Here are his last emails he sent. I shipped the beer to his dad and Troy never kept his end of the trade.

Hey buddy. Still have your beer here. Sorry, i am in the process of opening a brewery here in Orlando and have been swamped. I'll get it out in the next few. Sorry again.

Yes, my dad got his. Thanks again

Yes I was going to email you today. Ill send it out tomorrow or friday. Its boxed up and ready to go
I still have it for ya. Just got back from Georgia, flew up to Atlanta to look at equipment. I grabbed you a Good Gourd as a "sorry for taking so damn long" if you want it. It will go out Monday morning since I am home now for awhile. If you prefer I can pay pal you the $, it is totally up to you. Opening a brewery along with a full time job (until we open) is consuming my life.

Once again, need to say it, trading is a luxury, not a hobby. Way too many people who should not be trading because they don't have the time, money or proper focus on responsibility are trading and resulting in bad trader threads.

It is an addictive hobby, but not a necessity as there is plenty of good beer available to most people without trading.

All these threads make me :slight_frown:.

I'm surprised you waited more than 2 months to call him out. I would give a month, tops, because yea sometimes shit comes up.

Time lapse is very concerning. When will people learn that half of the time this crap is avoided simply by taking a few minutes per week to send a couple messages!

But @troygreer has 7 feedback and an avatar, which is a bit much to lose. No reason to expect a blowup like we've seen recently.
Also, the online flaming his brewery would get if he bungles a trade would be bad for business.

withing the last two months I did send him a couple emails, never in a rude way because I know he could of been busy. I'm posting this due to the lack of communication on his end and not keeping his end of the deal. Beer is just beer and I haven't stopped enjoying it. A simple reply would of been enough from him.

Come on @troygreer make things right on your obligations. Lots of Orlando BA's on this site(including myself), and hearing shit like this leaves a bad taste in the mouth...

It seriously does not take that long to ship a package.

It appears that @troygreer was recently logged on so hopefully he'll be making an appearance & (more important) making good on this long overdue trade.

@ionlion Can you provide more information on what was up for trade? What did you send him and what was he supposed to send you? If @troygreer does not come through I may be able to make up some of the things you lost.

Thanks guys, truly appreciate it! I have three good florida traders and I'm not looking for the beer that he owes me, I'm sure if they knew about this they would try and make it right too. A kind reply from him would be sufficient. I really hate to call him out like this and hopefully this never happens again.

You aren't implying we would respond by panning his brewery are you?

BTW, great idea, if you are.

@troygreer you were viewing a thread 6 minutes ago. Would you care to explain how you have time for that but not enough time to send the beers you owe or even a courtesy message explaining what happened? You're looking bad. IF you make no response to the complaints you look even worse. Going forward how you are perceived is up to you...

I honestly don't know why, when in cases like there where it's not a "he said, she said" situation, but where one party is in blind daylight completely screwing the other party over, why they don't get banned. I feel like the asshole here gets way too much freedom and privilege to screw others over, while everyone sits around and says, "well, we told you to do this at your own risk". Why they are still allowed to make ISO:FT posts and what not will always baffle me, and I feel like the victim gets more shit than the person who blatantly stole.

I mean, I could request a trade with someone, receive a hundred dollars worth of beer in the mail, tell them to kiss my ass when they ask where their beer is, and then do the same thing the very next day to someone else with no repercussions. That ain't right.

sweet, a @cavedave like! I am implying that would happen.
Not exactly saying it should. Or shouldn't. Depends on beer quality...

That might shut down the best option for contacting the bad trader for both OP and other interested parties. Also the best option for pressuring them to rectify.
It would be pretty cool if they could be banned from posting anywhere besides this Help sub-forum, so they can't post any ISO:FTs.

I'm pretty sure he thought I wouldn't call him out, we talked about beer via email while we were trading. Our first trade went smooth but the second was a different story. On the bright side this forum has been good to me and have made a few friends. Cheers @troygreer
