    Walked into one of my local shops last night to pick up something different and was surprised to see about 14 of these sitting on the shelf. I have heard of it before but have never come across them sitting on the shelf. I decided to give it a try even though it had a heart stopping price of $20......

    First Christmas beer of the year - after all, 'tis the season! Not bad, but it could probably use some aging, the anise is a little too prominent.

    Found a couple of these at a local store. Very good.

    Just reviewed Samichlaus Classic (2013) - 4.16. After 10 ounces and 45 minutes, the sweetness gets a bit old. However, this Rob Evan performance ( with TSO ) does not...it sends chills, especially at Christmas...
