Beverage plus in Floral Park queens still has vanilla. The guy makes you buy over $200 in GI beer to get one though, haha. I didn't do it.

 

Can I buy $200 worth of bottles of Vanilla? Haha.

 

The deli across from Pony Bar got their allotment. $100 for 8BCS + VR.

Wow that's steep, even assuming a high price for BCBS at $28/4...that leaves a $52 price tag for Vanilla?!?

 

Well if you factor tax, each pack is probably 30 or 31 (because retail most likely is $28-29), leaving a tag of ~$40 for Vanilla. It's bad, but not quite as bad as buying $100 of extra stuff before having the privilege to plunk down for Vanilla.

 

Yeah, if that's the out-the-door price it's just terrible, not horrifying.

• $100 = 2x BCBS 4-packs + Vanilla Rye
• Can only buy Coffee (possibly Barleywine as well) as long as you buy a 3-pack: BCBS, Coffee, Barleywine together
• $13.99 Coffee, $7.99 BCBS and Barleywine

You could probably walk out with only 4-packs of regular too, but I didn't ask. Only way to get the Vanilla is by doing the $100 package. Basically, he said "if I have to buy it this way, then I'm selling this way".

He only received 6 Vanilla Rye and there are still a couple left I think. Everything is behind the counter. Happy hunting!

 

You'd think that AB/InBev would improve GI's ability to distribute to multiple markets in a sensible way, instead of flooding some markets while leaving others bare. Just because we got a ton of variants, compared to most places, why should we have gotten even more regular BCS? Weird.

 

Yeah, I get the feeling that this year's BCBS will stick around a lot of stores for a long time. There are still several cases of last year's at my local store.

Looks like Vanilla is back at Brooklyn Harvest. Same story as before?

No idea, but New Beer has a bunch of regular and some barleywine left. Regular is $7.99 and Barleywine is $9.99

 

Just called and its $135 for (3) 4packs and a Vanilla. This is comparable to what Top Hops was offering on Black Friday. Ive spent so much on BCBS already,i dont know if its worth the second VR. But as of 230pm, they have some left.

 

brooklyn harvest market just got a case of vanilla, and you only have to buy 2 cases to buy one. so i now have 24 cases of bcbs and 12 VRs!!!!!

 

I would really love to hear someone on here who has done one of these purchases or personally knows of someone. Cannot imagine going that gaga over VR to buy that much regular.

 

Triboro Beverage has Coffee. Available in 4-packs or individual. 4-packs will set you back a cool $49.99. I'm guessing individual bottles are the usual $13.99.
