Yep. I love Jade but I just won't buy IPA's in Bombers anymore.

I'll still buy it, but far far less than if it was in 6 packs. I may buy one bomber for a Friday night but I would buy multiple 6 packs if it were available. I am a typical one beer a weeknight kind of guy and much much prefer the 12oz format.

At least this one doesn't typically sit around on shelves getting old.

Ahh yeah. Probably the best IPA in NC IMO.

You know I'm with you when it comes to six-packs versus bombers. In this case, though, I have to assume given the beer's limited nature that bombers will allow them to spread more of it around than six-packs.

But yeah, six-packs of Jade would be pretty awesome.

Anyone know if this gets distributed to the Outer Banks? If it's anywhere, I assume Chip's and Trio.

I love Jade, and I know this thread isn't for the debate, but my favorite is WW Freak of Nature. Regardless, NC makes some amazing IPAs.

Also, for the first time, they are bottling their stout. In bombers. Should be around the state next week.

Also need to include Lynwood Brewing IPAs in there - Hop on Top IPA and Hubris DIPA. They are delicious!

Dont forget Once You Go Black IPA either. This place is a gem and a must stop for dinner every time I am in Raleigh.

Their IPA's are definitely good, especially Hubris. But I'd much rather have their stuff on tap at other places around town, I find the actual restaurant to be weird and their food is below average even for a sports bar.

Nothing like the rooftop lounge for a great day / night of drinking great beer.....lynwood is indeed a gem!

Double Death Spiral by Trophy is my top IPA right now. They are killing it.

I'm happy to see all the love for Lynnwood. My friend and I stopped by a little more than a year ago and thought everything was really well done, but they weren't all that popular at the time. Of course, some medals will change things quickly! Their IPAs are indeed good, but I think their brown is one of the best out there.

I agree, and I am not trying to say to food is the best, but when you travel for work, it is nice to find a brewery that also serves food.
