I am definitely going with Jingle All The Way (also it doesn't have to be this time of year for me to watch it). Usually my best friend and I get together around her birthday with our significant others and each bring a six pack. Then we sit down and watch the hilarity ensue. I almost always spit beer out of my nose when Arnold fights the old lady for the Turboman doll. This last year I brought Kostritzer (Arnold Scwarzbeer) but this year I'm thinking of getting Schooner Exacts Arnold Schwarzbieregger. Cheerz!!

 

Tie up between Gremlins and Black Christmas. If you've never seen Black Christmas then you should, horror movie with gingerbread men made out of the skin from someone's back, people being strangled with garland, getting stabbed with sharpened candy canes. Metal.

JOY TO THE WORLD OF JACK AND COKE

 

Definitely Elf and Christmas story, so many good parts in each movie. I love the scene when Buddy the Elf is working at the mall and the manager announces that Santa is coming and watching Buddy's reaction.

Also, I watched Arthur's Christmas for the first time last year and it was really good.

 

I hated Christmas a long time due to the loss of my father during the holiday. Time passed and I met my wife. She literally saved Christmas for me with "A Christmas Story." We've watched it so much that we now live it. We have the actual leg lamp and box in our window every year. she wears the bunny suit on Christmas day. We visit the house in Cleveland every year, and Have pictures of our daughter under the sink like randy, and my son with soap near his mouth. Something so simple as a movie changed my life forever. I just wanted to give a big shout out to my wife for bringing the happiness back!


P.S. some trivia for you we learned at the house.
After he puts the leg lamp in the window and goes outside, the neighbor(a producer) is wearing a dolphins hat. The year this film took place, the dolphins didn't exist yet.

The snow is all dried mashed potato mix.
At the end when he cuts of the goose head, it was improv. .. so the moms re-action is authentic.

 

The Christmas Story. It's on for 24 hours and I'm pretty sure I watch it at least 4 times if you put all the parts together. We watched it as a family, together, growing up and now it's still tradition. "Fragile- it must be Italian" and "you'll shoot your eye out", both classic lines!

Not to sound too corny, if we can remember our favorite movies to watch with our family and get to do so then we all won. Happy Holidays to all my BA friends and future friends.
