    I agree totally.
A lot of followers out there though.

Same goes with Heady for me.

It's definitely not falling off. If any one says that, then they are on crack. I've had it at least 5 times throughout the year and I haven't noticed any difference.

I have to go with @riemster on this one. I've had DBH twice this past year. Most recently about a month or so ago. Both times a mind blowing experience. And I don't have any DBH. So I have no stake in any sort of game.

It really is that good. Period.

In terms of this year's sought-after attainable brew, DBH is currently the holy grail. In terms of this year's sought after unattainable brew (i.e KBBS, Westly?, VSB- though technically not this year, but still, etc) it's still a tier below. I'm NOT knocking it's taste, I loved it, and passively seeking it, but trades for it get done. Trades for the other three rarely, rarely [publicly] do. But that "tier below" is no slouch, within it reside the likes of BVDL, B&W, etc.... Any and all make up my own personal permanent ISO

I'm still trying to get past the "DBH is barely a notch above Huna" part

my opinion isnt actually too far off from that statement....and ive have had lots of huna and dbh this year, lots of it, but i just dont think the DBH is worth the hype, at all, and I would probably take regular huna 14 B1 over DBH...

I usually never write much in post like these because taste is so subjective and Huna is probably my favorite beer but DBH is the best beer I have ever had. The apple brandy with the rum just adds so much!

Actually, they did do a BA Huna repeat, it was Apple Brandy Huna, released in growlers in 2012, from their first release in 2010.

I traded my extra DBH for GM + BT + MW + CR. He threw in 2 additional bombers of BA beer and in exchanges I filled the sytro shipper with 5 other CCB bottles (Lacto Gauva, Warmer Winter, etc.)

But this was like the first week after DBH was released

I recently acquired my DB Huna in this trade.

    HIM:
    DB Huna
    DDG
    Persimmon Upland

    ME:
    Abricot de fermier
    Peche de fermier

plus extras on both ends. I think we were both happy with the trade

I'm actually thinking about letting one of my DB huna of for the fruit fermiers so this was helpful. Thanks

I landed a dbh with 2x '13 darkness and 1x abyss. However this was IP and right after the Huna day fiasco.

I feel like I've seen more DB Hunas for trade in the past week than I have seen for trade in the previous 3 months.

I'm thinking about trying to land a DBH, I don't know if I quite have what it takes so I thought I'd ask here before putting up an ISO:FT. Here is what I have to trade with:

    375 Cantillon's classic, kriek, rose
    3F golden doesjel
    Westy XII
    Abraxas
    French toast WnB
    Bcbs & bcbbw
    '13 Parabola
    '13 & '14 Sucaba

Do you think I have anything that could combo up to get this done? Thanks for any feedback.

I wouldn't do this. I have a DB Huna that I'm actually considering trading, but I'm really looking for 1-2 more interesting, harder to find beers that I haven't had before. You could try offering up your entire list and going for a volume trade, but there just aren't that many bottles of DBH left, so it may be a tough sell... just my two cents, good luck...
