As weird as it sounds, around the holidays I always make a plan on what I'm drinking each day. Interested to see if any of you have put something together. Here goes mine:

    Christmas Eve -
    St. Bernardus Christmas ale
    KBS

    Christmas -
2013 Founders Breakfast Stout - while I open presents, it's becoming tradition
    Heady Topper
    BA Santas Little Helper
Also, decided to drink my last 12/26 Stone Enjoy By the day after

    New Years Eve -
    077XX
A Night To End All Dawns

I'm Interested to see what you all have going on. Feel free to critique mine.

With me it is generally a lot of Celebration with some Storm King thrown in. I have a big group coming in Saturday so I will get to my local and buy a case or so of varied six packs. Then I will add in another case of my homebrew. OP anything special should come out for the Eagles victory over the Cow Girls.

    With the family-
    Great Lakes Christmas Ale
    Celebration

Probably a couple of bombers with my brother and maybe my BIL but my BIL doesn't like bourbon so I'm not sure.

Christmas Eve: St. Bernardus and tapping into the 5 liter Breckenridge Christmas Ale
Christmas Day: Don't know, but another new Christmas beer I haven't had such as St. Bernardus the night before. And finish off the Breck Christmas Ale. Maybe an Anchor Our Christmas magnum?

I am in the 12 days of Christmas BIF. From Christmas day until the 5th of January I will have a surprise beer that was selected by and sent to be by a wonderful fellow BA. And I did the same for another BA to have beers to drink everyday too.

Every year my brother in law comes in from Denver for about a week. He brings some beers in and I do also. We set aside beers we pickup throughout the year. We have 3 other family members who help us as we enjoy the brews we have assembled. We email each other about the beers in November and December. I try to focus on beers not distributed in Colorado (some not in CO or MO from traveling or trades),beers in the BA top 250, limited releases, and sprinkle in some whales. We usually use my list randomizer app to pick what to drink next since they are all great and we are nerds. Family, food, and great beer makes the holidays great! Here's what we have this year:

    1)Perennial Stefon
2)Dry Dock Signature Series Imperial Stout
    3)Victory Wild Devil
    4)Avery Pump[KY}n
    5)4 Hands Psycho Killer
    6)2nd Shift Chaotic Insecure Delusions
    7)Avery Rufus Corvus
    8)Avery Uncle Jacob’s Stout
    9)Epic Fermentation Without Representation
10)Odell Woodcut #7 Russian Imperial Stout
    11)Avery Tweak
12)Dry Dock Signature Series Double Vanilla Porter
    13)DogFish Head Beer Thousand
    14)2nd Shift Grace
    15)Mikkeller It’s Alive
    16)Stone Guardians Slumber
    17)Bull & Bush Yule Fuel
18)Bull & Bush Ice Cream Clone Barrel Aged Milk Stout
    19)Avery 5 Monks
    20)Prairie Cherry Funk
    21)Clown Shoes Undead Party Crasher
    22)De Struise Pannepot
    23)Straffe Hendrik Heritage 2012
24)Straight To Ale Laika Russian Imperial Stout
This year Avery and sours seem to be a theme!

Whatever I can share with my brother, haven't seen him since last Christmas!! We usually do an East coast / West Coast beer swap.... I've got some Black Ops, Resin, and Lunch waiting for him... Maybe time to open up my Utopia??

    Early and often.

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

No specifics set yet, but I'm pretty sure Christmas week will be a low-key event for us this year, so I'm thinking BCBS, BA Narwhal, Quetsche, maybe Door Kriek, and if I can find The Beast, Avery's Demon series. I'll have to check the basement, see what needs drinking.

Amazing how when you've been into the "scene" for over 10+ years, it just doesn't matter. Only worried about connecting closer with friends and family, beer or not...BUT WITH BEEEEER!!!
