Vertical Day! - 12/13/14

Don't have a true vert, so will improvise. Will have a Bourbon County at 12:00 pm, 13:00 pm, and 14:00 pm. Will see if my impression "changes over time".

 

My take on the 12/13/14 since after my experience earlier this year when I had a not so tasty Parabola 2012 I told myself I will only keep beer up to the 2year mark. I think stouts at about a year after release are fantastic and since I am in an apartment no space for 5years worth of beer anyway. So I figured I will do 3 stouts today starting with a 12% stout then a 13% and finally a 14% stout (prairie Bomb) might be silly but my own way to enjoy 12/13/14

 

But '11-'12-'13-'14 is fun-er

 

Missing '08 and '12 so I usually refer to this as my "binary" vertical. Still it will be fun to
get started on this today!

 

So far on the table is Firestone Anniversary 14-18
and a mini vertical of Founders Backwoods Bastard 12,13,14
plus whatever else we hit up should be an awesome day !!!!

 

If only you lived closer, my friend. I've got a 12/13/14 BCBS vertical that I would be happy to share.

Wish that I'd prepared for this, but it's too late. I do recognize the awesomeness that is 12/13/14 though.

I'm interested to hear results. I've built a '11 to '14 BCBS vert so far. Best BCBS I've had to date was a '06 in Jan of '12 (Central Waters 1414 release if the BA is out there who was kind to share). So target is at least 6 years, but I may go as far as a decade.
