There are a few beers I like better than Backwoods Bastard.

Ah very good... my source is possibly out of date it would seem... or the old net and lies damned lies and statistics... Still at least we can both agree Chinese beer is out selling the good stuff... :stuck_out_tongue::wink::grinning:

Sadly, the very last Great Lakes Blackout Stout that i have. Such a great stout from Great Lakes (like all of their beers)

A refreshing after Blackout Stout drink. OK so, this is going to sound really weird but, I normally don't really like Un - earthly. It's too malty for my taste. This one got forgotten about and was in the back of my fridge. It's from back in July when I bought it, yet it tastes SO MUCH MORE BITTER/ BETTER than fresh Unearthly. Does that make sense?! I don't understand, I know that frest DIPA beers taste more hoppy, and the hops fade with time, but with this one, after its been sitting it tastes so much more hoppy and way less malty in your face. Does that even make sense?

Yep so I'm told... depends on yer source of course, curse the internet. My source which is a month old is now apparently out of date! Still at least I was in the right country and turns out Tsingtao is no 2 according to my new source at least anyway. I eagerly await a new source informing me that Dos Equis is actually the biggest seller... any takers... no ah well maybe one day... And then Satin opened an ice skating rink...:stuck_out_tongue::grinning:

Had a few friends over today and had a few beers Ive never had before. I gotta tell everyone that if you like Rodenbach Grand Cru or the Vintage series then Schneider Weisse Mein Aventinus Barrique will blow you away. Get it if you can. This was my random selection today. From left to right.

    1. Homebrew RIS...absolutely intense chocolate and coffee notes
    2. 2014 Prearis Quadrocinno Coffee infused
    3. Rochefort 10
    4. Some sort of coconut beer
    5. Schneider Weisse Aventinus Eisbock
    6. Firestone Pale Ale 31
    7. Cantillon Mamouche
    8. Westvleteren 12
    9. Schneider Weisse Meine Aventinus Barrique
    10. St Bernardus Abt 12
    11. Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
    12. Rince Cochon Rouge (this was meant to be a joke for my guests on how bad this beer is)
    13. Schneider Weisse Unser Aventinus Tap 6

Overall I think I was a good host with the selection of beer. Plus everyone got to have some Carbonnade Flamande stew, Spatzle and Pumpkin Cake[IMG]
