Hi guys. Anyone knows if one is capable of getting any of De Garde's stuff in the LA area somehow. Had a couple bottles (beaucoup desay, vin bu...) and was absolutely blown away. They're probably too small and don't distribute this far, but thought I might as well ask.

    Best,
    Daniel

No, they barely distribute to Portland. Need to trade, some folks are likely in their keepers society, I should've dumped my Bruery membership in favor of that one.

Maybe an "illegal" bottle sale here and there, but even at that, you're paying out the butt for a "cheap" bottle. Your best bet is to try and trade for them.

Alas. I think they are up there with Sante Adairius for best brewery in the West Coast.

I think Santa Cruz and Tillamook are on the west coast :astonished:

Did you bother researching before posting? Simple search would tell you they are Oregon only.

I did, and search results were not entirely helpful. In any case, I was wondering if anyone knew about events or places where one could get it. I've had good tips and even people approaching me before.

It's not necessary to be so hostile.

De Garde can't be obtained in LA, period. The only way for you to get their beers here is to know someone who has traded for them and is willing to share them with you, or for you to trade for them yourself. The only other way is if they become part of a brewery showcase or annual festival known for bringing in critically acclaimed breweries (FW Invitational). That's it, man. There's no other way.

OP - Visit the brewery, take a trip to PDX, trade for them or meet non-hostile friendly LA people that are willing to share with you. I find the latter the cheapest and easiest route.

    That one baffled me.

Anyone tried the Beaucoup Desay? I had it next to HF Arthur, Dulcis Succubus from la Trou du Diable, a couple Cantillons, and a 3 fonteinen Kriek, and it somehow managed to steal the show. The raspberry bu was also insanity.

I am absolutely blown away by what they are putting out.

They rule, and their beers are between 9 and 14 bucks normally, less for some.

Anyone know what it takes to enter their society? I would gladly pay the penny for that stuff.

The Bruery, on the other hand...

I am not trying to be an ass like frogout (he really is an ass) but, these are the questions that should be asked in the appropriate regional forum.

Or just for shits and giggles you can use Google and here is the first search result (I even clicked it for you to make it easier) http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/713950

EDIT: I guess i really am an ass too.

I had a bit of a regional mess up early on. Any idea when membership sales will go out / how much they will go for?
