Yeah. This is me nearly every time I go out.

 

I check my favorite local craft beer bar's online on-tap list almost daily. Which is bad (or good, depending on your perspective) because it means that I feel the need to go there far more often than if they didn't keep it updated online.

 

It's not just you.
I do the same thing when I'm going out to eat as well.

 

This is every time I go anywhere that has craft beer available. And there is nothing wrong with it. If I plan to go to a restaurant I look forward to what may be eating. This is why places that maintain their tap list regularly get more of my business.

Anyone who likes beer SHOULD do that

 

I don't even live in San Francisco anymore but I'll still go on Toronado's website and put together a list of what I would drink that day.

But every time I do it just makes me sad that I don't have PtE and Alpine Nelson on tap a mile from my apartment anymore.

 

I just hit Toronado while out in San Diego this past week. It surely was a great place...enjoyed some Russian River Blind Pig IPA while there

 

I'm a last minute guy who waits til I'm there to formulate a draft strategy haha

 

I always do extensive recon on the rare occasion that I venture out anywhere. Also, most of the time it turns out I know the establishment's beer menu and styles better than the server or bartender...this of course can be annoying for them.

 

Nope, I am that guy that strains his eyes to look up and down the draft line, asking about half of them before finally deciding on what I want. I don't normally plan ahead for such things.

 

Im headed to Tampa (cigar city) for the first time next weekend I have my list of the 5 breweries I will visit mapped out already and the highest rated craft beer bars in the area....which I have already checked their current draft list.....you not alone bud....you are not alone

 

Gotta do research before you go out! Otherwise you'll be staring at the tap and bottle list for an hour looking up ratings and reviews while everyone else is already drinking,

 

Yes and no. I mostly just go online to make sure they have something worth drinking. Otherwise I go by my taste and what I'm feeling like when I get there.

 

Right away put together my own tasting menu and hope others are willing to join in

I am the guy if I see on facebook that some else is going somewhere, I have to checkout the tap list. Every once in a while the person will message me with what should they get.

 

I check the tap lists around where I live and work regularly regardless of whether or not I go out.
