    Went to 18th Street's First Anniversary last night and today and absolutely had a blast. Had some special beers like BA Coffee Vanilla Hunter, BA Coffee Hunter, BA Hunter, The Local 8 (Anniversary DIPA), and many more. Congrats to them! In just one short year they have gone from just a small Kickstarter brewery to one of the best breweries in the Chicago area.

    Now at home having some 12/26/14 Enjoy By with my new glassware. Definitely taste the Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe. So juicy and dank. Definitely one of the best year-round DIPA's out there. Cheers!

    But we, (I), better get this posted before @MarshMan71 wakes up and posts pics of som-a-'dos delicious, grilled, meat-n-cheese products.

    Too bad that will be the only good part of his day, enjoying that food with some delicious craft beer.

    Moved on to this one. It's good but poor timing on my part to realize that I'm not a big fan of rum barrels. Just not digging the flavor the rum barrel imparts. Cheers all!

    Having this, in celebration of my powerlifting team having a great day at the Holiday Classic today. The kids lifted well, and 2 of my lifters set 4 new American records. Really proud of them. So, this deliciousness:

    My lovely wimmen (wife, daughter and daughter-in-law) brought me home a single of Samuel Adams Merry Christmas. Now, this is sort of a weird beer but I kinda like it. A little odd but it's alright. Hmmm. Also have a 12 pk of cold Newcastle Brown. Yes, faced with the choice of various IPAs, stouts and porters, I chose the One and Only. My Brit brothers will call it rubbish and my American homies will slam me, but I have always dug this beer. The voices in me head always sing 30 Days in the Hole when I drink this beer.

    Rock on, muttherfukkers.

    I preferred their BBA Ale over the stout but neither struck me as outstanding beers either.
